I'll see what I can do about the tickets this week. I'd be flat out murdered in my sleep if I bought anything at the bike show this year. I've been very lucky in the amount of gear that has entered the house in the last little bit. So ... I'm good for now.

Just be aware that if you're going to haggle or get "cash deals," you're likely dealing with a tired, over-worked individual that has no power to give you what you want. Don't want to be presumptuous about your intentions, but if they are with haggling in mind, try and see it from the other side.

Just a heads up to you guys looking for a fairly cheap but powerful light https://www.geomangear.com/index.php?...sqisp1rt2jiju0
Tons of forum threads on candlepower/mtbr/here about that light. Apparently around ~6-700 lumens, batteries (18650 cells) & charger + engine for $84 usd + shipping. I ordered one a couple days ago. Basically a dinotte 600L except $300 cheaper. Probably be real nice for some of your mtb'ers. Helmet mount available as well.

I have just dug up a cool "Kerin Culture" tshirt that I won a few years back. Fruit of Loom size large. Never really wore it bc it was too large. PM me if you want it. Girl not included.

S/s crank. Threads are gone. Must have crossthreaded abit and it wobbled loose without me noticing. Then the pedal more or less fell out while i was riding. Glad I kept my old crank I used before.

As a note I would not recommend blasting a frame to remove the paint. It would either be very long or require quite abrasive pressure/sand, and the latter could potentially damage the frame.
I'm saying that b/c I did some sandblasting recently and it doesn't take off paint easily unless it's flacky. Better to strip it first chemically and blast it at the hard-to-reach regions and to prep it for paint.
Or perhaps Jet-Kote knows what they're doing better than me

Bikes: too many too list
Its a chemical strip and blast that they do at Jet-Kote. I have had over 30 frames done by them and for the most part have been pleased with the results. It isn't a piano finish by any stretch but is a good durable paint job.

a long shot for some of you shop guys: where can i find replacement cartridge bearings for a 1" threadless cane creek c2 headset? apparently cane creek isn't making them anymore and the guys at urbane say you can't get them...are cartridges from other cc models compatible?

if you're willing to import them ...

they appear to have 1" c2 bearings
