Yeah, I'd just take the paved Don trail to the Pottery Road trailhead. That's what I normally do after riding across Harbord/Wellesley or College/Carlton (and then down through Riverdale Park and 1/2 over the bridge). The other option is to just ride up Broadview and turn down Pottery.

a cool trail starts parallel to bayview from pottery...theres an open space (where peeps park) and a crazy steep grassy hill that goes in to the upper trails...

Yeah, just take the path that kinda starts next to / behind the stand of trees closest to Bayview. The old "straight up the hill" route has been sodded over and they're trying to get people to use the new part (which is more fun anyway).

If you want to warm-up first you can go up to Moore..just north of Mt. P and St. Clair...there is a nice fire road trail that gets you down to the valley trail. I love that run.

Is that the Beltline? The one that goes through Mt Pleasant Cemetary? That's a fun ride down into the valley.

Bikes: Menonite black urbanite, probably enough spare parts to make anther one.

how do you get to the trail that runs behind the brickworks? does it link up with the entrance at pottery / bayview?

ah hell, i'll probably just go and play around tomorrow. anyone not working want to join me to show me around?

That bike gets a big fat "Meh!" from me. But only because I don't own it.

Last time I checked, duppy only had silver spokes, cranks, pedals and bars and chain left. The spokes might be hard to enamel, but the cranks (and bars) would be pretty easy to paint or powercoat. Get a white KMC chain, and white look pedals and you're ready to go. You still need to get a white saddle though... in fact, you might as well get the seatpost, stem and hubs painted white at the same time. Robin has a white headset he might be willing to part with as well. I have a Colonel Sanders outfit you can wear as well.

Bwaa ha ha ha. I would stay away from the white chain and cog tho. Flaking white powdercoat cant do anything good as far as drivetrain is concerned.

Are you riding in or driving? If you are driving up, come by and grab some clubs, I'm a 3 minute drive from the Pottery Rd. entrance.

Re: Campagnola - Dude, sweet fixie! I love the full Super Bee group!

On a completely unrelated note, I adjusted the handlebars on "The Tos" today and now my out-of-the-saddle sprinting feels *perfect* ... that is all.
