I also saw jeremy/darkmother tearing along bloor street going west so he is still alive and well. This situation shows how when you get rid of the subway, the city basically shuts down, so if you improved subway service, the city would actually run properly. |

All my years in Toronto I’ve never rode the MTB dirt trails there always on the single track/path! I'll be back. |

It was nuts and I had no idea what was going on, people just kept coming and coming and coming, blocking the sidewalks and spilling over out onto the streets. Traffic was nuts and there were no traffic lights, so it was just as messed up as it could possibly be, thank god I was cycling, no one was getting anywhere. Much like how it was today, I guess. At least the cab drivers made some cashola.
I was riding through traffic, all the people in cars were bumper to bumper looking angry or frustrated. The people on the street were all hiking north, sweating up Yonge Street, staring at me, envious. Then one guy on a motor bike said, and I'll never forget this ... "You're free as a bird!" I love bikes! |
I'm here in Taichung, Taiwan.
There is this bike shope that carries has so many new and old Colango bikes, it's ridiculous! It makes bike shops in Toronto look cheap. They also have a couple of late 90's DeRosa's Cassini's and Merkx road bikes.. soooooo sex. No track bikes thus far.. :( The search continues. I think I need to go to .JP .IT or .FR for real. Panasonic? |

Nice... I hadn't seen him post in a bit so I was hoping it didn't transport him to another dimension or something.

And right about Here is the southern entrance to the lower don, to get here you can ride along the paved bike trail from Pottery until Beachwood Dr. which is just a gravel road and turn left, go along until you hit the train tracks and turn right over the wooden train track bridge and make another right and your on the trail. Hope that helps. |
While I'm at it I'll map out a few of the other Don trails that I know of.
Lower Don Trail (aka, Speed trail) Upper Don Trail (aka, Ridge trail) I think some peeps call this Trail "Party Atmosphere", this one isn't super accurate because there are so many forks in the trail and I might have confused myself a bit. It's a good technical trail with a lot of switch-backs, the first part of the trail is a bit depressing because there are big piles of trash by the trail from the apartment complexes. :( Here is a good warm up loop (Fruity Loops) in Taylor creek Park, not too technical and there are a couple of decent climbs. Here's another short loop in Taylor creek park (Doctor Quads). I've been on a bunch of other trails too but they're kind of hard to map out. |

Wes, we need to sort out our beer-having. Call me at the shop - (416) 778-6473 - and let me know what works. Maybe this can take place at the safety meeting or pre/post CM.

Mike: I think that's about the only place in the that section you'd want to ride a cx bike. The ridge trail is likely too technical. At least for me it would be. :P |

Doesn't get any more lmao than this:
http://daily.stanford.edu/article/20...imposterCaught Someone would actually sacrifice their time to pretend go to a university. The hahahhaah has not stopped reverbating throughout my house yet. Either that or the whole thing is a publicity stunt and story fabrication by stanford related personnel. |

I can't remember - what time does CM normally head out at?
|
Takes about an hour to get through, but here are some really good talks featuring Greg Palast and RFK Jr.
There's a lot of information about what Karl Rove's been up to recently, details on the 2004/2008 elections and what republicans used to be (and of course stuff on the Iraq war). The bit at the end about corporations and their supposed philanthropic actions really nails an excellent point home. http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...58769441262005 |
