Also, booting around on motor scooters there was a blast but I really wished I had a road bike, it would have really been sweet, although people drive like maniacs on narrow roads so it would have been pretty dangerous.

On a completely unrelated note, I found a decent 700 rear wheel last night, matrix rim I think with shimano hub. Seems to be inperfect shape, needs a cassette freehub now, but anyone want it? Going to Bike Pirates on Sat otherwise.

If that wheel isn't spoken for already, I can use it. PM me if that is cool, thanks!

Pyze, I may have some car junk. The ex is dropping of a few bins: jack stands, timing gun and a few other things if you want. I'll let you know what's here tomorrow. If anyone wants some largish rubbermaid roughtotes, let me know. I have about a half dozen or so to give away.
I remember coming back on the local tin can air from the Bahamas with a girl who got run off the road. One side of her body was a huge bruised road rash... on her honeymoon. New husband must have been baying at the moon. Yes, bikes + islands=road kill.
And one bubble was missed:

Out of curiousity..how much did the Mastercraft digital verniers cost ya?They look exactly like my no-name calipers.

Man those trimmed down risers FTW! So much fun. And all it costs is looking a bit like a Mash *****. I guess I'll need to get the official Mash Phil hub and white cog now...
Or, not.

[QUOTE=DrBenway]Oh dude... that was me that offered you tools on Yonge St, just south of College.
Nice meeting you. I need to get a crank that the chain ring won't potentially shear off of
A little paranoid about it happenng. Still testing out the waters.

Does Toby's hat seriously match his rims? If so, I really need to *ahem* step my game up.

anyone up for a mtn bike ride in the Don tonight? I'll likely be heading there for around 6:30 or 7:00. If there's any interest I'll post a more accurate time later this afternoon.

No idea if anyone here would have this kind of info, but does anyone have a favorite source for piercing jewelry? I need new plugs, and I just want plain black acrylic, but I can't seem to find any locally. Plus every piercing website I've been on looks like it was set up by a 14 year old in 1998... doesn't really instill e-commerce confidence.
