It is a gap that must be gapped, and taped...with lights and folks blocking the lane in case of bailage. Maybe not by me...I'll see when I ride the barrier.

That wasn't the bike polo I was looking for. I felt like I was hanging out with a bunch of high school drama club members.
Also: I'm pretty sure Derrick had a sign up in the door of the shop last Summer that said "No, we don't sell used bikes", or something to that effect.

I think you may be overestimating the width, or at least the usable width. As I remember this feature, I might be inclined to try it (on my DH bike, not a fixie thanks!) but I'd be ghetting off well before the gap. There may be guys on dropmachine who have tried the whole thing.

So that other bike polo scene didn't work out? I wanted to check it out but I was busy, not sure why but I recall thinking I'd rather be playing bike polo.
Imma see if there is any for this coming weekend, I'd like a place with a hockey rink & grass, so that if yer not playing on the concrete you can get a a grass pickup game going. I'm torn between the 2, grass is fun too.
duhhh there is a perfect grass area right beside the rink at Trinity Bellwoods yaaawn it's early yet immma go nap
