Sure!
You can spot me on a tiny 42cm grey Surly Cross-Check. My fixed steed is currently wheels-less. Anybody else going to be there? |

Dan how is the S/I turbo comfortable? Lots of guys use them & I think they look great. (White ones) every time I watch one on evil bay the price goes through the roof.

I have three really nice Turbo saddles that I'm not sure I will sell. If you 'need' one let me know and maybe I'll consider it. I have a white Turbo, used but good condition and a yellow stripey Bio Turbo brand new in the box (c'mon James you know you want it. It matches your bike really nice).

Turbos are great. I rode a Turbo on my conversion, then my track bike, then my road bike basically for an entire year. They are comfortable for sure. They have padding so if you're cruising around the city without padded shorts, it's kind of nice to have a bit of cushion. I personally prefer 'em to a Rolls. However, I have since discovered that my favourite saddle is the SLR. I have one on my road bike and am planning on getting another for my track bike. It gets along with my bum really well. That's why I'm selling my beloved Turbo saddles. They have served me well, I'm just not using 'em anymore. I feel a bit sad to do it because it took me a while to find these nice ones for a good price but they're just sitting on my shelf so they may as well go to someone who'll use 'em. Ryan bought the black one from me today and put it on his bike before he left! Right on.

One of 'em is indeed white. I'd like to see $25ish for that one. I got it brand new for $40 and it is used but still good condition. The stripey yellow one is literally new in the box and unused to I'd like to see about $50ish for it (feel free to make offers if you think I'm out of my mind). It looks so cool.

the writer is a journalism prof at my school. she specializes in writing obits, as morbid as that sounds -- my friend took her class and she told me about an assignment in which she had to write her own obituary. anyhow, i sent her a thank you email.

Barring a freakish sleep-in wherein I miss the whole event, my girlfriend and I (& perhaps our English friend in tow) will be at Bells on Bloor tomorrow. I'll be on my Kona. Um... I'm about to go out for the night and I don't know if I'll be in a state or able to check this before we go tomorrow. If anybody sets up a meet, perhaps text me with any important details? I'd like to meet some of you guys. I know the internet can be deceiving, but you seem like decent individuals. I'd like to find out!
Cell #: +1 (eight-one-OH) eight 4 five, zero seven 7 oh I'll bet they have bots that can decipher even that. Oh well. Don't call unless you want to risk astronomical long distance fees. It's a U.S. number. |

I rode the 75k early ride, on my roadie (with platforms at the time, got me some kudos from the roadie clan out there, heh ;)) - my daughter stayed at a babysitter while I did the ride, then I went and picked her up with the aforementioned MTB/trailer combo. My MTB is a Canadian Tyre Dyno Victory, front fork suspension and heavier than a heavy thing soaked in really heavy liquid - my first owned bike in Canada, and I love it in the winter, it's fully fredded out for all-weather commuting (though I need to do the Clorox mudguard mod Keith suggested). |
oh. well then, you have a doppelganger somewhere in the big smoke.
