Good ****ing game.

Yeah that beard is the culmination of my superior Photoshop skills (said with extreme sarcasm). Basically it started as a really funny picture of my dog wearing this stupid dog raincoat thing my mom bought for her. The picture is really funny if I find it I'll post it she looks so pissed off in it. Anyway, the grey beard area is where my dog's head was. Instead of actually attempting to cover it with something which would blend with the background I just used the paint tool to make a ZZ Top-esque beard to make things more umm realistic I guess. And yes that is my head (with a pencil in my ear you may notice as well) if anyone's wondering.

Inevitably someone will probably ask "why" so I'll just field that one now too. My friend and I were having a photoshop contest of sorts.

The tailwind kicks ass today. I rode from Parklawn to Strachn along the lakeshore ~4:30 and I was averaging about 40kms/hr with little effort :)

When I carved right onto The Esplanade off Church, it was like hitting a solid wall of air. it's gonna be a blast home, still Easterly?

if anyone here has big feet, this might be a deal for you. although with the winter we're having i'm not so sure they're nesessary. i would probably jump on them myself but i just bought a pair of shoes.

It's a little steep given you can get a pair of exustar's at MEC for $79. While not sidis, a season of toronto salt will make sidis not like sidis..

if you can make it out to st lawrence market i think there is a rostery in the basement. not even a starbucks near by? always good in a pinch.

Nope, they closed their doors last week until it gets colder.

Theres a ton of starbucks nearby, as well as second cups and timothy's. There is a little cafe downstairs in St. Lawrence Market but it takes me 10 minutes to walk there and 10 minutes back which is a little long to just grab a coffee. I should get one of the electric powered bialetti moka pots for my desk.

what a funky winter season

I was so jealous of my friends who signed up for the U of T ski and snowboard club. They got season's passes and a bus ride to blue and back twice a week for around 350 dollars. But in retrospect I'm laughing because they haven't been up there once!

Does anyone know of a good welder in Toronto who can do a quick reinforcement on a steel bike? Ideally as close to downtown as possible!
