Max is about 60 years old and cycles to the peak of Mt Tam in Marin County. He starts at his home in Mill Valley (about 100 feet above sea level) and climbs to the peak of Mt Tam (elevation 2,600 feet).

That's a 14 speed Rohloff internally geared hub on that bike he uses for his hill climb.

6:30 - 7:00 AM Sunday morning 401 should be good? who knows.
*Edit Ha Ha prior to the 1deg Sunday we are suppose to get around 20 to 30 cm of snow!

Flimflam 03-06-08 07:34 PM

Did a walk of shame tonight, luckily it was close to home at Queen/Jameson hence the walk (no point dicking about with **** on the street if I'm close to home). I'm heading to the show on Saturday rain or shine, but I'll be at the mercy of kid-timing - I figure I'll bring us down there for around 11/lunchtime so I don't have to do a crazy morning rush thing.

Snow schmoe, bring it on I say :p

cavit8 03-06-08 07:37 PM

I'll likely be heading over Friday afternoon around 2:00 or so.

And I likes snow. Rain and freezy goo not so much.

I was paying my bills. I had no internet thanks to water getting into the something-or-other box which was inside the fire zone down on Queen. The bell technicians could not get access to said box because it was inside the fire restricted zone. Unfortuneately, they did not feel like informing us of that until yesterday. So we had 6 mysterious and annoying days without internet. Bell can kiss my digital ass.

If you hadn't included red coat, I'm pretty sure no one would've had a chance at finding you. :)

Aw ballz, Jeremy beat me to it.

I just emailled a guy about a frame he is selling on CL and he said he will be going down to the bike show to sell it....how does that work? Is he going to stand in front of the show, hawking his wares? Or maybe he works at a shop and his boss okay'd him bringing his own frame?

nerdsgirth 03-07-08 06:43 AM

Ok... who bought this! http://toronto.craigslist.ca/yrk/bik/585605355.html Can't stand people who don't take down the posting after it is sold!

It didn't seem too slippery on the sidewalks today. I'm not sure what that means for the road.

When I move in May I'm switching to Teksavvy for internet access. I'm sick of Bell.

TRaffic Jammer 03-07-08 09:00 AM

Never EVER rive in Russia.

Won't you still be somewhat reliant on Bell for DSL services regardless of whom is providing them?
Teksavvy is a bulk reseller no? I see no mention of dedicated networks.
