No i'm going to be at home mostly but i'll be sleeping. It's actually quite hard to stay awake when half your face hurts
I'll be back in the hospital for surgery soon enough.
P.S Loving the photoshops guys
P.P.S I owe you guys (Kaibot, mitch et al.) a whackload of beer for fixing up my bike and brining it round to urbane
If you'll excuse me I have to go sedate myself now

Wooo! Thanks.
Went for a nice road ride early this morning. Damn I love my Guerciotti. Going from road shoes to clips and straps feels like going from a crispy cookie to a wet noodle. For some reason going from mountain bike shoes to sneakers is bearable but this is ridiculous. Ugh. Anyone want to buy an old track frame? (I'm not totally sure how serious I am about this...)
Rob you are a champ!!

Seriously! I can't believe you've been on your bike. I had such wicked bumper shock after getting hit earlier in the summer I rode granma style... and I was basically uninjured in comparison.
Since the site isn't done yet - so hard to get work for yourself done - I'll let everyone here know and rely on word of mouth for the rest. The dude who was running the Halloween race is running his tomorrow afternoon @ 2pm in Kennsington. Specifically, the park at Denison Sq. - Augusta & Wales Ave. Don't really have much more info than that. I'll likely pop by but don't think I'm in racing form just yet. Maybe shoot some video and get some stills or something if there's any resident photogs interested.

Day one of Halloween cx completed.
Wes got 4th! Sooo close to the podium, maybe tomorrow will be his day. Keith ended up w/ best costume (gum) and went home w/ an assload of beer. I was in the back with the rest of the beer league riders but beat the two dudes I was scrapping it out with for most of the race.

In the interest of preserving my sanity i've turned off pm'ing from everyone except those on my buddy list. Everyone on this thread is on my buddy list (with couple exceptions *ahem*).

Thanks dan

operator, went into to urbane today to pick up a 10 speed powerlink (those buggers are a pain to get on - no wonder Will said they were one time use only), but I guess you were getting some rest today. Get better, buddy! P.S.: at least now I know who you are...

Ho-ly crap today's course was a monster (it was supposed to be flatter than yesterday). Wes did Wes-good as usual (mid-pack, faster than me), Keith beat out Mr. Moustache (BMC Cross Machine dude) and I chased my guy down on the final lap. Very happy I even finished the race (my calves are still aching) and really glad I hung on to beat that guy at the end. I caught him about halfway through the final lap, then we were head to head along the beach (****ing sand!) up the junglecross run-up and down some of the final straights. He ended up casing one of the final barriers and I just drilled it for the line at that point. Huzzah!
PS. The hail was a nice touch.
PPS. Photos on the way.
