I think they are skis and boards right now. In the bike season they have some decent stuff, lots of Kona, small selection of used bikes. Still overpriced but not as bad as when they were on Yonge by Cyclepath.

Sat and Sunday moring seems decent weather for a ride.* I want to swing into the market and grab some coffee for work.* Sham and I were talking about a ride one of those days.*

If it is on, I am in. How long (distance) do these rides usually go for?

I may/may not be able to join for a ride, been sick since NYE and need to shake it off.

Pyze, be thankful it's only pee - I had a close call once with another variety - it was comical.. because it missed

Love the storage solution for the GT there.

I ordered the Mash SF DVD finally yesterday, anyone seen it?

Nothing to do with bikes per se, but you sound close to The Corned Beef House at Adelaide/Widmer which is kickass... I recommend the brisket platter. (Baked fries FTW).

How long you in town for?

OT: I don't think there is anything more exciting than consolidated separate assisting invoices from 2005 into a single spreadsheet. I mean really, opening .pdf after .pdf and copying/pasting (almost) the same info into a spreadsheet several hundred times is awesome!

Depends on what you're looking for...

cyclist/yuppie hang out with decent espresso and lots of surliness: Jet Fuel Coffee on Parliament St
punk rock meets cheap 'n good tex-mex and beer (and great greasy breakfasts): Sneaky Dee's @ College & Bathurst
amazing coffee and great staff: Manic Coffee @ College & Bathurst
Lots of cheap food: china town (Spadina, between College @ Queen) and Kensington Market (just West of china town, centered around Kensington and Augusta streets)

Let us know if you wanna get together for some foodbeer.

Finally ordered some new wheels for my Rossin build. Instead of the American Classic / Aerohead custom set I was gonna build, I went with some Mike Garcia Aerohead / SpeedCific wheels. The wheels should come in around 1530g, which is more than the projected 1400 of the build I was thinking of, yet much cheaper. The value of good wheels was hit home as I as went down Bathurst today on a pair of Xero XSR-4s, which I haven't used in 2 years. Brake shudder and crappy hubs quickly turn any ride into sketchy business; at least the Mavic/DT 105 wheels will go back on that bike tonight, once the hubs have been greased.

Oh... Maxxis tires ==

Can anyone recommend a good veggetarian restaurant in the Annex or west along College/Dundas? I hear all sorts of things about all sorts of places but figured you guys would be pretty knowledgeable in this area.

Not quite the same area, and I'm not really up on the veggie/vegan scene, but I've eaten at Fresh a couple times... There's one at Spadina/Richmond and one at Queen W/Crawford.

Otherwise I'd say take a look at www.toronto.com for their suggestions.

i need assistance from one of you computer imaging people:

the organiser for the bike week photo show can make prints of my submissions, but i'm supposed to send a copy of the images at "300 dpi resolution at 11" x17""... however i don't have access to Photoshop.

i'm pretty sure it's a simple adjustment... and it's even bike-related!

So cool, I just noticed that. My 4 year old niece drew a picture of me riding an alligator the other day and I had to ask "Why am I riding an alligator??!" to which she responded "That is you on your bicycle!". Kids are hilarious.

https://www.torontolife.com/guide/res...anic-food-bar/ (bling bling) On dupont. Or Fressen on Queen (bling). Or my personal favorite, the veggie dish at Nazaret (Ethiopian) on Bloor at Dovercourt (you practically save money going there).
