sr20det: it's almost worth renting a car driving to Buffalo, having some wings and a little buffet dinner and throwing them in the mail there.

let me know how you like that camera matt - i really like the idea of putting a leica lens on a consumer point and shoot camera.

you should be able to ship wheels via canadapost in the right box. can you get a box from a bike shop. that might be the ticket...

i definitely will... apparently this is the same camera as the leica d-lux with a different body and different software so all the guts are the same as panasonic manufactures leica's digital cameras. i'm very excited - it couldn't get here soon enough!

Bikes: gt gtb & marinoni pista special.

I've packaged them in a proper square wheelset box I got when I ordered some wheels.
I checked with Canada Post's shipping calculator on their site and they won't let me ship a box w/ dimensions of 69x68x36cm.

This is what it says:
Xpresspost USA: The item Length plus Girth exceeds the maximum allowed value 274cm

Its alright, I've refunded the money to the buyer and I guess I'll just keep the wheels.

What if you ship in two boxes? 70+70+20+20+70=250

I don't believe so.
The most equivalent-like I could think of would be a Phil Wood's.

Thanks for the ticket TJ, and Brad for the pickup arrangement.

Snow is fun out there, but slippy - careful out there folks.

PS, Chippy's FTW.

haha. I just find it a bit amusing along with their front hub converted salt and pepper shakers.
I think its cool how they put out gimmicky things like that. kinda like the park tools paper toilet holder or bottle opener.

anyone work at curbside on here? or just familiar with batavus bikes?

my girlfriend just got a used 3 speed old dutch.
wondering about basket options

are there any options that mount off the headset instead of handlebars so it goes under the headlight?

also, these things are huge!
