Bikes: too many too list

I know this is a bit of a schedule conflict with D.S.R. Dirt...but....I will be heading up to Albion Hills every Tuesday for the weekly Mountain Bike Race Series. If anyone feels like a little something different on a Tuesday let me know. Part of my work duties don't cha know. Taking up 2 sweet demo bikes for folks to try (X-Prezzo Sub-5 and Specialized FSR Expert) riding the trails and B.B.Q. afterwards. The bus leaves at 4:15.

I'll come (edit: pun not intended) if Nelson sends that nice turquoise Yeti 575 with you.

Reminds me of riding through the countryside back home, too. Very nice. When I go back this year I think I'll take my bike and buy a new camera, it's been a long time since I've ridden over there.

Can I just say how awesome it is to have so many people trying to squeeze as much riding as possible into every minute of the spring/summer so far. I LOVE that we have scheduling conflicts and way too many options.

Heh, I noticed that too, I wasn't sure if I should go in and flame away or just let it go. I don't really care too much but I have posted my own GT about 5 times in the Jackass thread, just for fun

edit: Fack it, I am going in with a flaming sword, that thread jumped the shark about 8 months ago anyways. Wish me luck!

My countryside is mainly meaning the county of Cheshire, UK - but there are lots of country lanes (narrower single-track/1.5 track paved roads) that are all hedgerow'd/treelined. Cheshire has a lot of dairy farming, so lots of fields full of cows - I grew up in the middle of fields, etc.

(pic removed)

*goes to find old England pictures*

And it's funny jet's bike is getting dissed. He's had it in other threads where people thought the Gumby leg forks were great.

OK I found some... Here's a fairly normal major road (an A road) near Stafford, where I lived before I moved over here:

A crossroads on some more main/major country/back roads in Staffordshire:

Narrowish road going into a narrower section:

And roadworks, aieeee! (Notice the lovely blind bend that the pub on the corner creates )

Phil's. i noticed that the ira ryan stuff is portland based. whenever i see photos portland and read of it's overflowing bike culture i always get that "land of chocolate" (from the simpsons) song in my head and start dreaming of the land of bikes.
