He indeed was in Block Party. One of my current favorites. Didn't know a whole lot about "concious" hip-hop until Duppy hooked me up big time. Now its Talib, Common, 9th Wonder, Mos Def, Baby Blak and Little Brother playing almost constantly at work. I have hereby been enlightened. Cheers Sham, you rock buddy!

hahahahaha no probbbbbbbbbbbz bredda man...I think theres a new school fight the power movement coming up in hiphop being led by those cats on oneside and NaS on the other side...Im still loving his quote on how hiphop is dying..."hiphop is Rome for the hood'..."

hahahahahaha yo likewise on tha music tip....Im loving the ska/punk stuff you gots...especially the planet smahsers...thats cool stuff!

yo question for you my bredda...I went for a morning ride and I heard a kinna grinding noise...my best guess for this is the chain is too tight? can that be the reason why? I spun the pedals and looked and it seems maybe like its too tight...like the crank dont spin as much as it should?

edit: what day/time for the hockey poker night?

Slack the chain a bit and see if you still get it.

You thinkin about coming by? the wife is gonna let you out to play 2 nights in a row?

A man and his wife are at the zoo. As they walk through the ape exhibit, they pass in front of a very large, hairy gorilla. Noticing her, the gorilla starts bouncing around his cage. He jumps up on the bars and, holding on with one hand, grunts and pounds his chest.

The husband, finding this funny, suggests that his wife tease the poor primate. The husband suggests she pucker her lips, wiggle her bottom at him, and play along. She does, and the gorilla gets even more excited, making noises that would raise the dead. Then, the husband suggests that she let one of the straps to her dress fall to show a bit more skin.

She does and Mr. Gorilla nearly tears the bars down. "Now, lift your dress up to your thighs and sort of fan it at him," says the man. She does, driving the gorilla absolutely crazy to the point at which he starts doing flips.

Then, the husband grabs his wife, throws open the door to the cage, slings her in with the gorilla and slams the cage door shut.

"Now tell HIM you have a headache."

re grinding noise: it's been pretty wet and sloppy lately.. you cleaning/lubing regularly? but yeah, if the cranks don't seem to be spinning freely, it sounds like the chain is too tight.

it's what separates us from the animals. my dog once ate a pound of dates and a box of metamusil (sp?) and was basically moaning and sh!itting liquid for a few days and still didn't learn his lesson! damn animals.

i cleaned the cut and it seems to be healing but it's the fact that i still have no feeling in the tip that worries me. the cut was pretty deep too.

duppy - you can get a 15mm wrench at canadian tire for a small sum if you don't want to cough up the dough for a park tool.

i think dogs are the only species on this planet that will actually eat themselves to death...besides humans. speaking of eating to death, for you shepard's pie fans out there, try adding some parmeasan to the mashed potatoes, man is that tasty (and i can assume only good for you).

i don't know, like i said i'm a bit worried. may go to the hospital if i get a chance.

i'll give it a day or two and if it's worse then off to emergency.

not really sure what kind of dog he is as he was a stray (found at a local gas station with he mom and litter mates). probably parts border collie, aussie shepard, german shepard, who knows.

how about your's?
