Goki did you read the article.
From the article: About a half hour later, police stopped a 34-year-old trucker from Detroit, Mi. in the Cambridge area.
Wow, an American trucker from Detroit pulled a gun. What a surprise.
Does the threat exist? Sure, but I used to live in the murder capital of the world I have no fear in toronto especially in the downtown core where I do 99% of my riding. Scare mongering is lame.

Agree on the knife issue. I also like Kitchen Stuff Plus for home needs. Good prices and good knives. If I had money to burn

Only $165 right now, a savings of $120.
jeremywhitehorn: do you put any time in at Siegfrieds? I'm there next Wednesday night for some Tech school thing. Let me know if you're around and I'll swing by early.

hey meng, wasn't trying to point fingers at anyone and definitely wasn't trying to scare monger. i just don't want the 0.00001% of the time that a gun is pulled, is on someone on this board.. or heck, is on anyone on a bike. dude, i don't care about telling you what to do. just be careful out there is all.
gonna pick me up a zyliss now...

Sorry Goki I jumped on that hard. Work is being...frustrating today. Zyliss garlic presses are great though. No one wants to ride tonight? Last warm night it looks like come on someone's gotta want to fly through downtown...

Time and place? I might be free.
Whats the big thing with garlic presses? I've never owned one and never use one in a kitchen. I just smash the garlic with a meat tenderizer and then chop it as needed. Usually I leave the whole crushed clove as is.

Ops nice good to see the weather good for the next two days, Good night riding. I'm heading from the annex and returning too the annex but I'm not sure when I'm leaving I'm off work at 8 but I have to get home eat something, prepare for discussion on the topic of safety and then leave so I'd say 9:30 would be the earliest. I'm not doing anything hardcore probably just a run across to woodbine down the queen and back across or something. Not sure up to suggestions

I have been party to an incident involving a raging motorist, a cyclist and a firearm. Here in Toronto. With the driver being a Toronto citizen. It happens. You can't dictate your emotions/responses based on the possibility. However being aware that it does happen cant hurt.

You think that's manipulative? You should read grinder, there are serious flaws that are left in for those who don't do other reading. Him and mystery are hilarious together, we should try the pez dispensers on bikes, its *so much fun* and the cube is the single greatest invention ever.
