You feel bad for the wife, but she had to know what was going on. I don't know much about concert pianists, but they don't usually have a place in Yorkville... Nor do people who sell used bicycles... Those who traffic drugs on the other hand...

wow. just... wow.

also, i did the DSR last night. it's one of two things: a) i'm too slow and out of shape, or b) everyone else is riding way too fast, because i remember the early ones being more fun than that.

You think that's bad? Try to do the Thursday 100s with Cam & The brothers Kaiser leading the pack... brutal!

Any one know where I can get these "Campy" Koolstop pads locally? https://cgi.ebay.com/Kool-Stop-Brake-...QQcmdZViewItem

On CBC- officer talking about how they just discovered 200 or so "nice" bikes.

Sorry about that Ryan put me in charged to lead out the ride and I think we went too fast, where did you drop off? We ended up heading east to Ashbridges bay then back west to the ex grounds and we all went our separate ways from there.

Pianist is a funny word. If you say it out loud.

Seriously though that is hilarious! I wonder if a person can really somehow be completely unaware of that situation. I for one find it hard to believe. Maybe in her strange world Igor had that whole "bad guy" mystique thing. *barf*

I'm looking to do a century this weekend. The AIDs site is down, so I can't get a map there. Any one know where I can find a nice map to do a century?

Hey, at least we didn't end up going North and then bombing Mt. Pleasant this week. I have a tendency to lose everyone on the climb and the descent on that ride.

Maybe we should organize a "Take 'er EZ" ride... On Sundays... This suggestion has nothing to do with my work schedule making the usual group ride an impossibility for me, I assure you.

Oh well, back to solo riding for me. ;_;

i went on my first DSR ride last night + had a lot of fun. the pace was definitely faster than i expected, but i didnt feel overdone by it. mind you, i cut out at spadina to go get drunk.

it was a good workout + i loved riding with a pack, which isnt something i normally do. i plan to regularly attend these rides from now on.

For anyone looking for a potential cross-conversion, this appears to have cantilevers although it's hard to tell from the pic. https://toronto.en.craigslist.ca/bra/bik/768414315.html

Too wee for me.

hahha seriously. brothers kaiser.

i dropped off at ashbridges -- got cut off by a whole stream of cars when a road cuts through the path just before the wooded area, and figured i was far enough east (not knowing how far east route would be headed at the time) that i should head back in time for my bedtime. it's no fault of yours, just that i haven't been on any meaningful ride since last fall, basically. damned school. i'm a fat no-endurance rider now!

As per the discussion last night, here's a youtube clip of Augustyne's crash on 16. You can imagine what it must be like going towards a road edge with no idea what's behind it.

Well Ed told me the Miches were just campy reject hubs. Sort of makes sense when you look at them.

Anyone need a set of MTB cranks? I put a sweet new set of Crank Bros. Cobalts on my MTB today, so I have a set of Race Face Next (silver with carbon inserts in the crank arms) available to anyone who wants them. I think the rings are 24/34/44 and the arms are 175, as are almost all MTB cranks. They require an ISIS BB, and I'm afraid I don't have a spare. These are quite a nice, stiff setup, and I have owned then since they came out. They have a lot of miles on them, but like all my stuff, they are in extremely good condition.

i think that to be able to 'qualify' for free components, one must be able to spell them.

unless carnkset is the new pr0n..

That and to actually determine from the post which ones are being offered. I'll admit though that Krusty's post was pretty cryptic. When he said ISIS this is the first thing I thought of
