I thought the Cobra was Juan Jose Cobo Acebo (Spa) Saunier Duval, who was one place ahead of Ricco.

I assume you know about the Toronto Bike Map? Available for free at your local city hall / LBS (some?) / bikechain. Not as convenient as a Perly's for flipping through on the go, but it includes bike lane maps for routing your new-to-city-biking friends in a perceivably safer manner.

I stand corrected then. That is very encouraging.

Pearlies is what the taxi drivers all carry.

Last time my dad was in town, he asked me to show him where something was on his map of the city. I started looking on it and saw the DVP south of Bloor as a dotted line with the word 'proposed' beside it. Agincourt didn't exist, and there was precious little else north of the 401. The date on the map was 1958. Oddly enough, for what he wanted, it was just fine.

Well, we'll see... I'm sure once Igor makes bails (he apparently hadn't last night! hahaha!) I'm sure he'll be back at it... The story that I got was that his shop is a fire hazard and that's why they were removing all the bikes, we all know why they really were, but that's the official word. I posted up a couple of pics this morning here

Geez, that looks like chaos. Was there a mock-up of Igor on a stick burning in effigy?

I wonder how long it will take for those bikes to be on the toronto police ebay site... Is it immoral to buy it from there?

A lot of Uncle Jacob's bikes are from the auction site so I guess it is as moral as anything else.

So at some point in the future i want to put an order in for one, and was wondering if anyone else was interested in them and willing to split the shipping with me. Just putting it out there, still saving the pennies.

Im headed to NY soon, so i might be able to save on shipping
I emailed Lane at CETMA a while ago because I'm interested in the 7-rail rack. He said USPS ships his largest rack to Toronto for about $30. I haven't ordered one yet because I was sure I could find something similar in town, but nothing yet....at least not what I'm looking for anyways. Maybe I've convinced myself that I need one of his styled racks. Because of their shape I can't see why bundling two racks together in one order would be that much more for shipping costs......fwiw

The rumour at Parts Unknown today was that he was denied bail. An inability to make bail makes more sense, but the rumour would be pretty sweet if true.
