Of course they are. I am a computard. I will see if I can fix that....I know it is easy but some of us are just "challenged".

Yeah I've scared myself ****less in traffic on my road bike because I was trying to backpedal to adjust speed, etc. and it's not there... very unsettling in those moments. I loved riding fixed in the winter though, I was running a 28 on the back and it still seemed OK... 20s must dissect that stuff easy.

flim - totally agree with you: first reaction is to modulate speed thru your legs, then brakes.

That bike is pretty damn slick.

DavidL I've never noticed colored nitto bars but I've never looked either. I'm going around looking for a couple things tomorrow or this weekend and I'll keep an eye out.

Belated B-day wishes Shamil. Was the Gardin a gift to you, or to yourself? New bikes for birthdays are great.

Sham's new birthday ride. Early 80's Gardin Team built by Cambio Rino in Italy. Columbus SL/SP. The top, down and seat tubes are all handworked into multishape so they are oval in the middle and round on the ends to fit the lugs. Wheels are Level's on Mavic Hard Ano Open Pro's w/ DT Comp spokes. Crankset is a Veloce road with Miche ring...original Gippieme cup and cone BB. Bar and stem are Cinelli. Congrats and Happy B-day buddy....you deserve it.

Dear Keith,

It's been too long since we last chatted. Remember that time i brought you stiegls for fixing my rear hub? Yeah, me too. Good times. Sometimes when i think about it I just can't stop the good feelings. Anyways, on a totally unrelated note my birthday is at the end of october.

Last year I found that in/out of the bocce ball courts worked well.

Yeah, there's lots of stuff in that park. Hills, trees, sand (both bocce ball and baseball diamond)... plus it gets nice and sloppy when it's wet.
