Canadian idol 2k7!

Dare I say a distant cousin of Mr. Zoolander
It looked like a totally fun ride. I wasn't in the mindset for it though. dang.
Next one. those critical ass pics were hilarious... what's the "requirement" for the ride?:D

Be proud of your Elvish, that's as nice as a cold pint on a hot day.

Nice photos by Darren. I was wondering if he was going to put the raging and reckless SUV driver in there, but didn't appear to.

I went on a nice picnic ride to the island with my girlfriend today. Lovely weather, great scenery. The island really is the gem of Toronto. While waiting for the ferry back I met a dude from New York who was riding a blue IRO cross frame with blue deep v wheels and riser bars. we chatted about bikes for a while, it was pretty neat. We also met some funny Japanese guys who gave Emma a little ride. It was pretty funny:

sr20det 05-28-06 06:07 PM

holy shiat.
I thought you became really japanese or my memory was messing with me. cause for a sec, I thought you were the guy on the front of the bike haha.
reason being: the guy on the front is wearing the same brown shoes as you.
(and I only remeber what shoes you had because you had those shiny pant cuffs on last time.)

operator 05-28-06 09:09 PM

30kms of traffic dodging not my idea of fun.

Shiznaz 05-28-06 09:42 PM

I'm going to be at the annex grassroots start point at 7:30am tomorrow (408 bloor west). Hopefully I'll bump into some of you guys. I already told my boss I'm going to be late for work so I really may as well not just sleep in.

Well you can try to find a shop that has them to try them out...

but if you do decide to buy them I can order them for you at the shop, then you'd get a special good price.

operator 05-29-06 12:25 AM

Hey Gboy, hope you read this before you leave tomorrow. Not feeling so well at the moment, I think i'll take the day off tomorrow. Sorry.

Oh man I love it when the cars are just barely moving and you ride in between the two lanes, find an opening swerve into the curb lane, ride a bit then a car is too close to the curb swerve back in between the two lanes.

Just crazy tight turns coming inches from car's bumpers, probably freaking the drivers out.

It gets pretty risky sometimes, but that's the best part; knowing how colse you are to killing your self. haah.

Maybe I should start wearing a helmet...
