I left around that 7:30. It was a pretty powerful thing. I'm still a little bent out of shape.

Sorry I couldn't make it out last night guys. I had to get a bunch of work done for one of my freelance clients. Hope things went well.
Damn.. the time change is killing me. I'm looking out the window right now admiring how sunny it is, and itching to go for a ride, but by the time I get off work I need to put my lights on. Especially after what happened last week I'm a little wary of going for a hard ride in the dark AND during rush-hour. :S

it all works for me, as long as I know in advance so I can plan my freelance stuff around it.
Sunday is totally clear for me atm.. anyone want to suggest a destination?

That's some funny ****..
Oh, and I had a guy on a red Cervélo fixie talk to me (actually complain about Bloor St traffic) on my way home from work today. I like friendly fixies.
He appeared to be running a ******ly high gear though. His rear cog was TINY. I kept losing him (while spinning madly) and catching him again at red-lights.

operator: that guy you seemed to know at the halloween CM was wearing cowboy boots on a brakeless clipless-equipped fuji fixie. What's that guy's name anyway? I think I've been introducted twice now. I suck.
ps. dude, if you're on here, I'm sorry. It's not you, it's me.

hoorah!
I met the very first fixed rider (possibly messenger) today!
I walked into the xbox 360 promotion store today on queen street W. and when I got tired of testing out the new xbox, I saw a beautiful clipless and brakeless red fuji track bike with a black push the envelope top tube protector chained outside of the store. I quicked ran back in and talked to the guy who owned it.
He was a swell guy and we had a nice chat.
Just wondering if he's a regular at this forum or if any of you guys know him
Also, he mentioned that the fuji track bikes could be had for cheap at bikes on wheels.
Does anyone know if its still cheap there?
btw, I am now inspired to get my hands on (whether building or buying a complete) a fixed bike before spring comes!
at the moment i'm just a fixed-bike wannabie/poseur, help me realize my dreams!

heh.. I think Saturday was a better choice for riding. I spent Saturday afternoon at Ikea, and Sunday afternoon assembling my purchases. Thankfulyl I also bought a cordless drill and had my well-used allen bits on hand to throw everything together.
