True, but it was tasty cat, with chives on a plain bun. My hands were pretty greasy after that; I was thinking of maybe using the sauce they had to lube my chain.

I'm leaving tomorrow morning for California, and then riding back from there via Vancouver. Wish me luck. I'll be updating my website with pics and details.

it looks like the george brown bookstore offer a discount of about that amount on the new models. still a bit rich for my blood, so pen and paper it may be. just bought a new camera and promised that i'd be a good boy.

Oh. You're going to use a laptop to take notes? Pen and paper... for the win. That or a tablet pc. Most of the kids with laptops just end up playing games on them in class.

Go to class with RAM stick MP3 player with a mic. Record them and listen to lectures in your sleep. Transcribing the notes to text also gives an extra boost of retention. Pen and paper for diagrams, new frame geometries and bike pimping sketches.

to be honest the lecture part is a small portion of the course. basically the chef shows you 2-3 recepies one day then you pracitce them for the rest of the week and are graded at the end of the week. so it's more for keeping a record of recepies and such. transcription; good point there and it works for abstract though like a philosphy lecture but i think this is more of a learn by doing thing. who knows, it's just an idea at the moment. you can't take your notes into the kitchen anyway...
