Them hipsters can have it all....hands off the Man in Black, and Patsy Cline though.
The punks will eat you for lunch.
I'm confused about hipster culture.... I must admit.
I'm usually pretty good subculture wise, having been in several.
What makes hipsters hipsters?
just catchin' on.... operator your channel is about to crowd up I think

yeah... ok.. I think I'm going to put the other one on the front and see how I feel tomorrow.
it makes me feel like a delicate flower.. a hairy delicate flower.. *titter*
also, I seem to only have 1 (nearly through the tire) skid patch on the rubino pro that was on there. What's up with that? I thought 46x16 == 8 patches (https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...FixedRatio.jpg)

well yeah, but wouldn't that result in 8 nasty patches distributed around my tire?

Hmm that chart shows i have 1 skid patch (48-16) but so far so good no patches yet just a matter of time i guess.
The tires you have on are new right? And that chart shows you should have 8 spots, but you got 1 big one.
Lesson we should stop buying the flashy tires & get some durable ones?
Who the hell knows?
Cheers

Montrealer moving to Hogtown! Looking for a room!
Hey Toronto Fixers,
I'm leaving the land of steep hills and poutine for greener pastures, professionally. I'm moving to your city by Oct 1st, and therefore looking for a shared apartment. If you know anyone who's looking for a roomie I'd appreciate a bit of help. I'm looking for a *relatively* bike friendly space, as I'd like to bring my track bike inside.
To let you in (and now all of BFs) on my situation, I'll be moonlighting, working part-time as a sommelier and pursuing an internship at a social marketing agency that deals primarily with NGO's. I'm in my late twenties, socially concious, and non-veg, but eat healthy. I'm a neat and respectful roomie.
I'm looking for something within a close radius to U of T, Queen W, the Annex and Kensington Market (or so my friends have recommended). I'd like to live pretty central, as I'm new to the city. I don't plan on bringing a ton of stuff, as in extra wheels, bike parts, and tools. As for partying, I don't drink very much, and have outgrown the hard-partying messenger scene. I'm also allergic to dogs and cats, and am not too keen on living in a basement apt/room.
I've been surfing around on CL, but I just though I'd post here as it'd be nice to live with people who know what's up. I'm looking for some like minded individuals, male or female, down with bikes and enjoying life. If you know anyone out there looking for a roomie for Oct 1st, please tell them to drop me a line at *****dpendon*** awithacircle ****** gmail**** dotcom
Thanks a ton,
and see you all soon!
Dave

Does this mean that all our locks are now vunlerable again a la the kryptonite pen fiasco? Guess we have to buy $125 Abloy padlocks for our krypto chains now. Just great.

yeah, that technique has been around for a long time. the scary thing is that it works on basically all locks.
btw. the forecast for today has improved slightly. only a 30% chance of / isolated showers for the evening now.
