Hey Toronto Fixed Gear riders:
I was going to put this thread into the Regional Subforums as I think it would be better served there and that is pretty much the purpose of that area. I know this is a pretty Fixed Gear specific thread and it is really helpful, but what are you thoughts on opening it up to the Regional Subforums? PM me your thoughts and concerns on this. The placement of this thread will be based on your thoughtful input.
Thanks again!

Shanking, defacing or otherwise mauling sheet metal will get you killed Op. Take the lane instead.
Luckily...mine is an SI injury.

Nashbar uses FEDEX to ship so I decided to order 1 (one) hub. Hopefully it'll clear customs with a declared value of slightly over $20CAD without getting hit with associated brokerages.

So what do people think of moving this thread to a regional subforum? I've emailed 165 and he suggested a locked sticky in fixed/ss so people in the big smoke could find us (which was my concern). I'm wondering if there's a down side and what exactly the upside is apart from the 500 lb gorilla the thread has become and trying to keep stuff organized er what. hey?

I'm against moving it. The regional subforums has zero traffic.

Just don't take anything the owner says at face value, he is a nutter.

but yes it is a museum of cycling lore to marvel at. a while ago he had an original raliegh carlton track bike with 27" sew ups and a fully campy track kit on it. was it for sale? who knows...
