Looks like a fine resource of inspiration for conversions.

Plus, he'll be done much sooner than the fixedgeargallery garage feature
The one with conversion done in 12 episodes, with one episode per month.
Dunno if the target audience has the required attention span.

I am looking to buy a fixed gear wheelset, specifically, mavic cxp22s laced to formula hubs. I would prefer to get them built locally, by a good wheelbuilder, rather than take my chances with eBay. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I should go, and how much they will probably cost?

I guess Brad will come up with any excuse to have you sit on his head.

Hey Shiz...the cassette you gave me is a CS-M950 type P which is an 8sp. Someone has included an 11 tooth cog to appear a 9sp. It will not fit on yer hub. Give me a call ASAP.
Also which shops in these parts are equipped for King hub service..Shape? Robin?
Paging Shiznaz! Paging Shiznaz! There are a couple of other bugs too.

On a related note: Are Marinoni bikes custom? I always thought they were, but the site seems to suggest that they are not.

Marinoni...used to be all hand attention all the time, but the latter part of the 20th century took care of that. While some customs can still be had, I believe it's mass made now. Not to knock what comes off the line now, but the old stuff was killer. You couldn't throw a rock in MTL in the 80's without knockin' someone off their 'Noni
