fluid trainer

I wanna get a indoor trainer thingy when I actually have some cash-money.
I'm looking to pick up a Kurt Kinetic, they're a bit pricey but I figure I'm going to beat the crap out of it for the next five years and I don't want to replace it. No idea where to buy them locally, but I haven't really looked.

This is gonna be another "wait 'till the bike show and see what I can find" deal.

Exactly what I'm doing. I seem to remember seeing trainers there last year, but I didn't check out prices. Of course, I would think the Spring show would be a better time to get trainers since people actually want to buy them in the Fall.

I just put one of those cheap MEC continentals on the back, and it hooks up hard in the dry, but boy does it slide in the rain. I was fishtailing trying to stop this morning-kinda scary actually. I'm surprised there is such a difference from my old tire, which was pretty sticky in the wet.

With common names like hot tub folliculitis and barber's itch, folliculitis may sound more like a bad joke than a skin disorder. But folliculitis, an infection of the hair follicles, is no laughing matter. Severe cases may cause permanent hair loss and scarring, and even mild folliculitis can be uncomfortable and embarrassing.

Folliculitis usually appears as small, white-headed pimples around one or more hair follicles — the tiny pockets from which each hair grows. Most infections are superficial, and although they may itch, they're seldom painful. Superficial folliculitis often clears by itself in a few days, but deep or recurring folliculitis may need medical treatment.

Bikes: Various by application

My winter feet solution is a little involved but very effective. After getting weary of cold feet and on one occasion getting frostbite thanks to my neoprene overbooties, snow packing in through the SPD hole, forcing it's way all around the toes, then re-freexing solid ice when when back on the bike (if you walk through packed/deep snow in booties be sure it doesn't happen to you) So after that I decided enough was enough, if I gotta be out there all day my feet were going to be comfy! So this is what I came up with;

1 pair smartwool in appropriate thickness, with this arrangement those socks that claim to be safe at -40 are actually comfy at -40, not just painfully frostbite free. Smartwools have varying thicknesses like most wool socks, use lighter for -10 med for -25 etc
1 pair neoprene kayaking socks from MEC, large enough to go over thickest socks
1 pair Lake DH300 2 sizes too large

Feet stay warm all day. The socks are wet at the end of the day but while wearing you can't feel the diff between wet n dry w/wool beneath neoprene. I got the Lake shoes on ebay for some fraction of their actual cost. They've lasted 2 and a bit winters

Yes! Thank you, I am vindicated. I thought I was losing my ability last year because I slid so many times on these Town & Country tires.

37 Cluny Drive is one of the most ridiculous houses I've seen in the "downtown" of any major city. Its massive and gorgeous and they pissed off everyone is rosedale while building it. Though having a gazebo the size of my house would be pretty cool.

folliculitis is also the same as saddle sores (or at least the most common kind of saddle sore)

Depends on the weather. But usually a core of 6-8 of us who do the ride and then head over to do the Donut.

Its actually pretty homey on the inside. And the garage has a car wash stall to hose your bike down.
