So besides soldering ball bearings into allen key holes, superglue? Something else I haven't thought of?

Heh, traffic jammer that blows. But you had fenders on right?

P.S Cavit8 I just realized I didn't actually give you those cranks last time we met. We can still do that this week, today i'm on campus

I have a seatpost one in the rear i use until winter then I make my areo-NOT body kit. Nothing on the front. I just don't understand why though. Oh quick lads everyone is going to be out on the street soon, lets hose it down and make it wet and slippery. More of a peeve than anything. Nice to see you lot the other night, was good beer drinkin' fun. Maybe next time we'll actually ride.

I don't think you can solder a ball bearing into a bolt hole... the bolt is too large to actually heat up enough for the solder to bond. Hot glue, epoxy or superglue is your best bet. The solder would likely just fall out.

I had a nice commute to work this morning. Had to keep the pace high to stay warm. Nice polite cars make me warm and fuzzy on the inside.

Hey Wes, climbing this week?

P.S. Last night I went up to my friend's place at bathurst & st. clair (I went up spadina around casa loma, then along st. clair between spadina and vaughn). They are repaving st. clair for the stupid street car island idea and its down to one debris filled lane. I got a flat half way across, pulled over and found a big fat industrial staple stuck in in 2 places. I patched it on the rim, put the tire back on and pumped it only to find ANOTHER hole, which I patched (I've wasted around 15 minutes by this point). Once the holes are patched I take off along st. clair again and within about 25 seconds I have ANOTHER flat, this time from a piece of glass that embedded itself in my tire. So I use ANOTHER tire patch and this time its not holding, so I just pump the tire as hard as I could and hurried to my friend's place. I left his place and my tire was flat again, so I repumped it, went home and then just replaced the whole damn tube.

HELLO FLAT FAIRY!

You can fill the bolt hole with solder, or glue the bearing into the hole. Both have pros and cons to them.
Never get out of the boat. Sounds like Shizy has earned something good to happen to him. Dude, that bites, blows, and sucks.

Possibly... I'll know better tonight, so ask me again (email or pm). I definitely want to go, but my gf's Mom had a heart attack last week and is in hospital, so everything is a little up the air with my schedule right now.

Those drivers must have been spending the weekend north of the city. I saw 3 incidents on the donut ride, 2 almost escalated into extra-vehicle confrontation. Not sure what makes someone feel the urge to pass ~60 cyclists over a blind hill. One dude even had his infant children in the car-guy looked like Tie Domi...brow ridge and unibrow to the max.

Tough break man. Sorry to hear it. Nice looking ride too-I'll keep an eye out for it.

It takes me about 15 minutes but I am pretty particular.

On a side note, I found a Raleigh bicycle yesterday in my neighbourhood and I put up a posting on CL about it so if anyone here knows someone who had a Raleigh stolen or they were drunk and forgot where they put it, point them to the CL ad. It is hard to tell whether the bike is abandoned or junk or stolen, so I felt it best to put an ad up for it and see what happens.
