I like the look of them but I'd prefer polished.
It is a really tough call on the bike. Can you go see it as a perspective buyer?
Bring some friends and a pickup you can toss the ride into, if it ends up being yours.
Can you prove ownership via Serial#?

If it's yours, personally, I don't think you have to prove anything. I'd just take it and tell the guy he's lucky I don't rip his arms off and beat him with them.

Anyone else out there feeling distinctly unsafe? I know I am. Perhaps a meeting is in order?

yeah actually, I also feel like I could benefit from attending a meeting regarding safety issues and how to best handle them.

cavernmech: sweet.. I'm all over that. Apparently I'm in a band now and I'm meeting the guys at their rehearsal space this evening and I was looking for something to kill the time beforehand.

comin' up in the world, don't trust no body

I'll get over it.
The driver's insurance company has already approved $7490 +PST & GST to buy a new bike, which means I don't have to replace parts this winter. Doctor has written enough Perc's to keep me high for a month and the lawyer has assured me that the settlement will cover this year's winter vacation for me and the family.
I think its a fair trade. If I'm gonna get hit I'm gonna profit.

i'll pass on the safety meeting; gots to work.
no one took my bikering baits; c'mon i'm looking to start a fight.
somnambulant, if you're looking for a band name i recommend: "ron tarkinson's armada featuring herman menderchuck". Free coffee tomorrow to the first one who can name that reference.

Don't even know where that is

You, sir, are worse than Hitler!
