Should ride DT where it's safe.
Ill Mitch....from the sounds of it this morning, if you were hurling all night, I fear fever might be the least of your worries.
Is it stomach flu?

ah Bach.....
You know some promoter would be well within their brilliance if they setup a Diamond/Gold/Platnum/Indian Rubber Sprint Booth at the bike show. Just occurred to me. Now my Diamond Sprint bud will be upset with me for not thinking of this sooner.
Yo duppy you coming later to the show?

I may meet you guys at Moon Bean, but I doubt it.
I'll prolly see you at 10 when the show opens.

Meebe I can make it tomorrow after all. But will I be able to resist the pull of new shiny things? Do need a new crank though. Could be worse, put me near a kitchen store and I go crazy.
Will try to be at Moonbeam for 9.
New incarnation of the s/s as well, bad pic, sorry. Crappy rogers phone.

Speaking of which how is the food there. Friends of mine want me to go there with them. Having 'worked' there in the past I have no desire to ever return. although I do have fond memories of doing deserts there and buggering off for three hours at Betty's instead, then returning to serve some kind of ice cream I made.

Oddly enough for it to come up right now as the one and only time I was at Betty's was for my friend Sabine's celebration after she (successfully) defended her PhD dissertation, and it's her husband who asked me to be in his band this week. Seemed like a pretty cool place!

Didn't realize the safety meeting was for after work! I'm a very safe person so I actually have another conflicting safety meeting that I must attend. Maybe we can assure that everyone is adequately safe after the bike show tomorrow?

And Betty's is a favourite drinking hole. Exceptional crispy wings...mmm....so crispy.
Although I too feel distinctly unsafe, I will likely not make the safety meeting as I'm busy cramming SAS code in my head. Mayhap I will feel safe enough to venture out.

See two Canadian premieres about traffic problems and solutions in big
cities:

(Denmark/France/USA/UK, 2006, 56min - Canadian premiere) - a film about
New York City street life prior to the introduction of the car and, a
century later, learning from London, Paris, and Copenhagen in reclaiming
our streets as vibrant public spaces.
- "A Conversation With Enrique Peñalosa" (USA, 2006, 12min - Canadian

introducing bicycles and bicycle culture to his city
Following the films will be a panel discussion with Clarence Eckerson Jr
