Yes thanks Mitch. I guess this is someone who loves bikes, naked babes & e bay because it’s been going for like 5 days now. No it’s not me.

Hope you all find some good stuff tomorrow. I’ll be going to a pumpkin patch/wagon ride. Oh yes fun!

Nope but I checked out the City of Toronto down at the Ex; there were some pretty good deals if you like mountain bikes but nothing for me. Did anyone score anything?

Bikes: TBL Onyx Pro(ss converted), Pake SS (starting to look kinda pimped)

I couldn't pull the trigger on a 2004 Rocky mountain Solo 54 road frame 200bones down from 800. I soooo wanted to but just too much money for the day.
Socks and gloves is what I got away with, too many people around noon.

Is that 200 from 800 making the frame $600 or is it $200, marked down from $800? Dukes had a couple of Solo frames for 500$ or so, might even have been cheaper than that, I cannot recall exactly, I saw them a couple of weeks ago hanging in their rafters. They were selling them with a full 105 kit and some decentish Alex rims for 1200$ at about this time last year, a good deal if you ask me and I almost bought one but then I found my Roubaix on CL and picked that up instead. From what I hear, the Solo is a regular ol' chromo frame but with some nice geometry and with 105 it would be a great ride.

What time does it begin? Is it out in front of the garage like last year?

Hrm, interesting. Was a 54 the only size left? Was it Duke's booth?

Deals on nothing! mostly just commuter stuff like racks, pumps, clothes. As for parts it wasn't nearly as good as last year.

Has anyone been to any of the bike swaps?

I'm just wondering if it's worth it for me to bring my old frames.
I've also got a cross country fork and disc rims.

Do people buy components? or is it more for whole bikes?
