Yeah, I saw that Pini and thought it is a great deal but I just have way too many bikes now, rats. I think that he (or she, could be an amazon) is including the seat-clamp and the headset too. It has been listed before and I think that the last time, the asking price was $350. Or maybe I saw it on Pinkbike or somewhere else.
And yeah, Value Village is a madhouse today! I go to the Lansdowne/Bloor one all the time and I had no idea there was a sale today. I pulled up into the parking lot and thought it looked a little more crowded than usual but I thought nothing of it. BOOM! I walked in and it was teeming with people. I thought about buying a bike for $15 and putting it up on CL for a profit but the line to buy stuff was at least 30 minutes. Crazy. |

In regards to the pini, I have banned myself from buying any more bikes until I get rid of some. in the stable right now: 3 track bikes (only 2 sets of track wheels though), 1 geared cross bike, an SS MTB and a BMX. I only actually want to get rid of the BMX though! I can't stand the thought of parting with one of my track bikes, and the SS MTB and cross bike are new... |
Speaking of bikes that keep popping up on CL again and again, here is that steel Pini that was discussed in this thread a few months ago. It looks like the owner is finally going to get rid of it, likely for a good price:

That would look very nice as a new old road bike.
