Rob, I think there's some of those 3TTT stems with removable faceplates in the back of Bikes on Wheels. Of course, the boxes may contain something other than stems, such as heroin, or cheerios. Worth checking out though.

I'll guess and say it is a 54 and whoever posted it didn't know what that meant and guessed standover.

The post has been updated to say center-to-top.

So... anyone else catch the interview with Case Ootes on CBC#1 a little while ago?

They were talking about the city budget and the interviewer asked him where on earth he could possibly make cuts to save money as he was suggesting. He gave two examples after thinking about it for a bit, the second one was "Bike lanes, there's a few million right there" Not that I would expect anything different from Ootes, but annoying nonetheless.

What year do these guys live in? The '50's? A white picket fence, a big ass car and a full tank of gas for every family? Don't these people breathe? I'm at a loss. Really, I am.

Danhalen 03-26-07 04:39 PM

Colin I didn't see the baguettes on that loaded touring bike you posted! Nice!

Charlie, I KNOW what a baguette is. Gee whilakers. Sorry for killing your joke. First I'm all like "dude what's an aero lever?", then I'm all "what does that have to do with baguettes?". Now that I understand the joke, I see that it was good for a hearty chortle.

Yay, let's all celebrate by sitting at our computers.

Me and this thread go WAY back.

This thread and I are so tight, we are like a '35' on a tension meter!

etc. etc.

OOOooh thanks for the tip, i'll check it out.

P.S Tovi, "I've got more stuff in the back". SCORE!

tovi 03-26-07 07:50 PM

heh, not to toot my horn, but I must agree. It's awesome. I might bring it in from the sides, but only a bit. With a shirt underneath, it's just right.

You've got a PM, rob

Ill Mitch 03-26-07 09:45 PM

Hey Offhoff, was that you I saw on Queens Quay locking/unlocking your bike around 10:30 or so tonight?

Tonight I raced my friends from King and Dufferin to Pauper's at Bloor and Bathurst. I was on my bike and they were in my friend's car. When they arrived I was at the bar, drink in hand talking to the bartender. And they thought they would win. Poor fools. Darn Tootin'. Damn Skippy.

2wheelsgood 03-27-07 06:25 AM

Heheheheh @ the first statement. And man, that bike is the OWNAGE. I really can't think of a better bike i'd like to ride around the city. Well besides the part where my pants got caught between the chain and chainring even though it had the metal chainring guard.
