Maybe if I had some 1.5 I'd dare use that ratio.

SEALED everything for that matter.

So Keith told me that despite my having never cracked open the BB in the entire time I owned the bike and hosing it down it was surprisingly not a BB of rust and filth. Woohooo couple more hours and I get to see it.

I didn't want to spend 60+ on it.. cuz I'd be smashing the $h1T out of it while learning trials.
The original spring and hex bolt were a POS.
Burly is the manufacturer.. not so burly from what i found.
I am sure the surly singlator is much better quality then the one i have.
In my experience, don't use a tensioner if you can find the magic ratio.

Here's my SS, or rather 2 speed.

The rubber knot keeps the chain/tensioner from slapping the chainstay.
It happens a lot when I'm riding like a fun-boi.

Both do if you can make it look like you're working.
