i like the option. higher stem for long relaxed rides, lower for short fast spins.

You are now responsible for requisitioning a copy of a "Sunday in Hell" DVD for us all to watch with cocoa.

TRaffic Jammer 01-23-07 08:19 AM

Wow, Shapelike....that's flipping amazing, what a gift of a lifetime. Reciprocating is going to take some imagination. You've been hiding a romantic side?

shapelike 01-23-07 08:20 AM

Actually, we have that one in stock. BYOMarshmallows

My lucky streak continues in that next to C.T. is a very nice flower shop. Hopefully I can work out a discount program with them.

to quote Johnny Cash...

I fell in to a burning ring of fire
I went down,down,down
and the flames went higher.
And it burns,burns,burns
the ring of fire
the ring of fire.

Damn he should check the clinic for the burning part ;)

Does anyone know where you can get a jersey framed?

A framer?? Sorry for the flippant answer but my framer at dupont and christie, southwest corner has done great work with archival documents/art/silkscreens etc. Not the cheapest but he'll make sure he uses museum grade archival materials if thats what you want.

TRaffic Jammer 01-23-07 12:54 PM

Queen east, near Jones....Framer awesome.

somnambulant 01-23-07 01:43 PM

I was actually just speaking with one of my good friends (not like you bunch of losers) who is a framer at a Loomis store, and he said "sure, it wouldn't be a problem.. but it'll be expensive!" So, there's that. :)

Shiznaz 01-23-07 01:48 PM

Framing a shirt they usually do some pretty decorative matting; usually at least 2 mattes and sometimes 3. This is so the shirt doesn't get pressed against the glass so much. They will often add a little label or a photograph in the corner too, but only if you ask. Why not try to buy a ready made frame with glass, and then cut your own matte? Otherwise its going to be pretty expensive.

TRaffic Jammer 01-23-07 01:50 PM

The fact he's at Loomis makes it even more expensive...

hahaha.. indeed. He's been working there since the dawn of time. :P

Our main file server has been down for about an hour here. Yay for legitimate goofing off! If I can't access any of my stuff, I can hardly do any work, right?

Ahhh file servers, I actually just set up a RAID as a NAS, I'm just tweaking the network settings and trying to get the OS X box its connected too to recognize it at start up. Anyone with ideas on speeding up gigabit ethernet connections or automounting network shares would be fantastic.

TRaffic Jammer 01-23-07 03:01 PM

automounting a network drive?
System prefs.....Under system..Account,...select user (you need to be an administering user at this point).
Login Items(Tab) , + (lower left) select drive ..click add. Check on to do on boot. If it's network volume you want mounted make sure you save the user/password in keychain or it'll ask user when it mounts.

Is everything gigabit? Full dup= ON

Offhoff 01-23-07 03:05 PM

Thx Traffic, yeah everything is gigabit, its sweet.

lymbzero 01-23-07 03:10 PM

Did someone say RAID?

:O let the geekdom begin!

TRaffic Jammer 01-23-07 03:20 PM

Full duplexing is on? I'm not entirely sure about getting all the bits outta gigabit.

somnambulant 01-23-07 03:21 PM

neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerds!

Offhoff 01-23-07 03:24 PM

Jumbo frames were key in increasing the network traffic speed. Its all good now, I have a nice 2TB disk drive, MUHAHAHA

operator 01-23-07 03:29 PM

I personally prefer skinny frames.
