I think they even use 20/g and if they bust a grow op I think they include the weight of the pots, lights and any other equipment in that figure. If I didn't know better I'd almost think it was worth becoming a grower based on their profit margins!

Bad news bike:
A biopace ring AND a quickrelease with no chain-tugg? Sounds like a broken face waiting to happen.

There are legitimate uses for pistols, and then there are illegitimate uses for pistols - just like everything else you can use as a weapon; kitchen knives, pens, newspapers, microwaves etc.

Let me just reclarify that even though i'm against the outright ban of handguns I still believe in firearm ownership restrictions like we currently have in Canada.

Now I'll be the first to admit that the sexy beast isn't the nicest looking bike around. But that conversion is ugly.

Jeremy-

I have a black 120 mm quill stem that you can just have. I would also accept a shorter quill stem in exchange. Wantsies?

There are legitimate uses for pistols,

I stand corrected.
What are the legitimate uses of a handgun? Unless you are a cop or other security type I dont see why anyone could have a legitimate use for a handgun.
the argument that anything can be used as a weapon is a bit obtuse dont you think?

For me recreational range practice. But beyond there you are correct that there aren't anything else

Well in Vietnam and Cambodia handguns are a legitimate way of taking money from tourists. Especially American. At the gun range in Vietnam were amongst other guns a .45, .357, an UZI, AK-47, bazooka, M-60 and a Tommy Gun. Not to sterotype but all the people lined up to shoot guns were the U.S. tourists, and one hot Aussie girl.

I did have an urge to go all Capone with the Tommy Gun in the 'firing range'.

Aside form that aspect, as a gun owner and user, I can't think of any reason one should have a handgun outside of law enforcement people. Handguns (not target pistols) have one purpose only, to be shoot at people.

TRaffic Jammer 01-26-07 11:59 AM

All weapons systems are designed to kill more efficiently than the previous version or technology. Shooting is fun, but one can't have any illusions as to what the weapon is capable of. Target shooting is great fun but it is merely training for the day.....

A soldier trains for war, but prays for peace.

I am NOT going to say that blowing the hell out of something with a high powered tripod mounted machine gun isn't one of the biggest rushes you'll ever experience in your life.

Large diff though in going to a range and renting vs. keeping one at home.

Kinda like the monster descent in Vermont for 6 miles where I white knuckled to 95 kms/hr

Hm, wish I had a digicam. It's just a generic normal looking stem. Nothing too fancy... Something like this:

http://www.byercycles.co.uk/15_01%20...tem%20htm1.jpg

But with a less pretty finish. It's just black and has some wear.

Hey Canice I did a story for CBC Sunday on MC once, I met some CRAZY people while doing research. Turned out really well too.

I once got MCed after a skateboarding through the parking garages of Toronto night, which was odd...

Now I'm researching a story about all the crazy hidden places in Toronto. Like the fact there is a shooting range in the gov't building beside Union Station. You go in at lunch hour and all these brokers/traders/bankers are filling targets full of lead to get out frustration, very surreal.
