Identical to the one lymbzero used to ride. Smaller size though.

A pink bike would be sweet. Especially in a 64cm or something crazy big.

They were not actually branded as Fujis but they are the same frames.

I don't know who makes the carbon fibre frames for Bikesdirect either but they are also re-branded bikes, mostly Steve Bauer frames that sell for 2500$USD for the frame alone. It is really interesting what is going on now in the carbon fibre market....that stuff is getting cheap. Anyone with enough orders can buy the frame, as can be attested to by the guys in the road forum that got a sweet CF frame/fork for under 600$USD shipped. There is another one now too, this time for a Leader frame and it looks like it might be under 500$USD. Tempting.

i was lusting after a pink miyata i saw locked near work. actually, i'm still lusting for it. on a separate note, i've been watching a red panasonic slowly getting stripped of its parts. it's been chained in front of that journo store (where the ruben s smoked meat shop used to be) on kingW. looks like it was a nice frame.

i've been watching that bike too. it sucks that it's getting stripped but it also sucks that someone would leave it for that long. it sat out there all winter and probably longer.

So I was told today that I have to get a frame that fits or my fixed days are over. So I'm in the market for a 50cm track frame. Keith I was hoping to discuss the issue during the safety meeting tonight. I hate being short sometimes.

This is a pickle, isn't it? It would be stealing to cut the chain and take it but it would be wasteful to let it sit there and rot. If you cut the chain and breath new life into the bike, is that really wrong? You may get lucky and the city will cut the chain and the bike will turn up at auction but it will likely go for a stupid price.

Who "told" you? Doctor? Pro frame fitter? I won't argue with that assessment as it is too big for you. Discussions at the meeting are usually reserved for related topics but I think we can make an exception for you just this once.

Two doctors, one of whom fixed my knees when I screwed them up years ago so I have faith in her opinion. I'll probably swing by earlier today so I don't sully the safety meeting with my whining. Plus I need to see if I can make my monster fit a bit better while I figure out a frame.

I don't understand....your frame is too big so it messes up your knee?

edit: I guess I do sort of understand now that I think about it----you are hyperextending your knee when in the bottom of the pedal-rotation, is that right?

in four hours he could do the butterfly, a dolphin around your belly button, a peace sign on your ankle and maybe some chinese characters that don't translate. I almost forgot, he could probably do that rainbow you want too.

spring is a bad time of year for me to get fresh ink. fall is much better so i have time out of the sun to heal. not that i can afford it now anyway. i've known what my next piece will be since before i got my last one, but other things (food, rent, bills, weed, booze, bikes - in no particular order) have taken precidence. oh well, it's a life-long collection; no need to rush... *sigh*

That Johnny Cash tattoo he has a picture on there is SWEET! I don't have a tattoo, nor want one, but that's cool.

Funny you mention that one because in the thumbnail, you only see Cash's forehead, not the trademark hair, and I thought to myself "Who the hell would get a tatoo of Don Knotts?".

$150/hour. i know it sounds like a lot of money but he works quickly. as far as artwork goes he prefers to draw his own stuff anyway. for the last two tattoos i got from him i didn't even bring in reference material,i just tell him my idea and he draws it up. and his rate only applys to actual tattooing time, all of the prep and drawing time is included in the price.

I am looking to get a sleeve done but I have many different images I need constituted into a design. How would I go about this? He would no doubt need some time to work on the design. Too short notice?

this is what i would've been getting coloured in: (it's still a bit scabby in these pics)

those pics were for my brother, hence the finger.

that was my first 4 hour sit and you don't even see all that he got done. like i said, he's fast.
