so i work in social services. today i managed to fix a flat for one of our clients, but i can only do so much!
any suggestions for a place to send low-income folks? i could do some research, but it seems like y'all are looking for something to do... i don't know if the community bike network is open/has funding? i've never been to bike pirates? is bike chain for students exclusively? would shops downtown get annoyed with people coming in to use the pump? any other places i'm forgetting?
thanks!

Does anyone use a beanie type thing under their helmet? I was thinking about how much sun my head must get riding, and I thought it might be good to wear something under it which might help my sweat too

Keffiyas are all the rage now. Bonus hipster points for a palestinian black and white one.

Keith thanks so much for the conversion, it may not be as pretty but it sure fits a ton better.
Shiz I took a look at an 07 flite 100, its actually a pretty sweet ride I might pick one up
I've had the craziest week in the best way possible with a combination of amazing weather and wonderful news from work. Sorry the alleycat video is taking awhile but paying projects have to take precedence. Hopefully it'll be up soon and I'll have DVDs for the safety meeting.

pps. speaking of CV, anyone doing anything for CM on friday? I've got band practice as usual, but I'd be potentially up for doing something afterwards.
