I miss Mertons posts, they were priceless.

pyze-guy 06-16-07 10:50 PM

So sweep, by my estimation we did about 40km.

Felt like more but a good ride for sure it’s a nice stretch of road to ride, with the water front and all. Not many silly looking rodie's eather.

Excellent ride. Not too much traffic, cool breeze from the lake, the good life.

no, a salad fork would have three tines; looks more to me like a fork for slicing a roast.

pyze-guy 06-17-07 02:56 PM

Tuning fork for violin.

ronin2046 06-17-07 04:20 PM

Thanks a lot, Dan... After talking with you, I had the terrible urge to watch that dreadful youtube video.

You know the one...

It’s like they know what they are doing but not 100% sure & they need to cut 6.10 in half at least. Fun stuff!
Chaccaron Ya heard

There's a 2006 Pista on CL for $300.

My favourite part of the ad:

I'm looking to pass on this gorgeous track bike as the frame is bent pretty badly. All other parts are good as new. It's such a beautiful bike
My thoughts are when the frame is bent pretty badly, usually other stuff is not so good either.

operator 06-17-07 07:56 PM

appologies for not responding. glad is was a good ride. i was busy cleaning the house before my bday bbq.

i'd like to say that my refurbished (thanks bRAD!) cruiser bike is really fun to cruise on, even if it's slow. cheap busted saddles... not so much. a few more additions and it'll be perfect. not riding with bike shoes is weird, but it is nice to have the option.

cavit8 06-17-07 08:53 PM

I've been lulled by ebay. I just got drilled for $35USD shipping a brakeset because I didn't ask in advance :-( Too many nice people have quoted me like 10 USD for equivalent weight parts or actually refunded me money if it cost less than they anticipated... Now I'm sad. Time for a bowl and a newcastle.
