Hey all; those looking for dual pedals. I took them all to Cavern this morning and gave them the ole TLC.
About 16 sets in various conditions all with toe clips and straps in a box: 2 new sets never been used which Keith will appropiately price; 6 sets marked GOOD which means tight bearings and smooth turning; 7 sets marked OK which means they're goood to ride but may be a little loose in the bearings but fixable if it bothers you. I'll let Keith determine monetary value or go-for-no, pick a set you like.

Have fun, good riding; anyone need any more fixit info PM me

That would have been our very own Jeremywhitehorn.

Colin: awesome skid picture! textbook example of a panning shot..

drbenway: I so love that shot.. I think that's Dustin, the owner of Cadence Clothing.

Also: I think I might try out some flats on my fixie.. anyone have a favorite pedal/clip/etc to recommend?

Also^2: Another day of mtn biking.. sweetness. Ripped the ankle of one of my argyle Twin6 cycling socks though (and the skin on my ankle, but I'm more bummed about the sock). boo!

hrm... i was riding east on wellington, and the yard is on the south side... i noticed the dumpsters to the right of the entrance, and there were about 3 frames beside it, behind the fence... it was early and i only looked for a split second. i mostly thought i would mention it for future reference if that is a regular spot that bikes are taken to be junked...

So, they have a black guy for black history month, a chineese guy for chineese new year, a crippled guy for handicapped news, a grumpy old white guy for consumer issues... and they couldnt find someone who could ride a bike to do CM.

Hey Keith i'd like to pickup a pair of those SPD pedals on Monday if they're not gone yet

PS. Critcal mass vid from last night in .mov format. Use QT Alternative if you don't want to use QT official bloatware player.

Okay, I did see those. Maybe I'll give them a call and see if I can have a look at them as they were behind a locked fence. There was a couple of pretty pooched frames but one or two didn't look too bad.

yes, to a good home it went. i must say that riding a bike with a bike on my bike was a unique experience. i even went for a slice with it slung over my shoulder.

i've been using mks track pedals and just got some soma clips and the much maligned urbane/marinoni tow straps that seem to be working fine for me. i would also recommend mks gr-9 for pedals. the $19 MEC generic MTB pedals aren't bad either; really smooth bearings.

One of my girlfriends bought it for me its a North Face Flight Series but last years model I don't think they make it anymore. 2Wheels has one of these (I think) and it looks wicked. The problem with my North Face is its built for climbing so it has no really good wind resistance while on the bike I tend to wear it under one of my Nike Climafit jackets, then its perfect. The only thing about that north face jacket that is absolutely tits is the fact it has the monkey loops for fingers, it makes the biggest difference under gloves.
