Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Who's whining? Pretty general observation, in my opinion.

I thought the interval was smaller than that, but I'm not really paying attention.

There's a shot across the bow now and again, but the hardcore starts precisely at 75 days, then a self imposed exile, then it goes again.

Look, here's what you do. Pen a little note to one of the Admins with your concerns. There's no use in you coming in here to complain to me. You're just disrupting the flow and stirring a pot. If it's such a big deal to you, act on it, but please don't disrupt the flow here.

For as long as I've had that image it's the first occasion I've found to use it.

I need to try harder.

Quit your whining or leave the thread. If it's too much for you to handle, put yourself on ignore. Thank you.

...in Minneapolis, I remember spring thaw as the time when a winter's worth of frozen dog poop all thawed out at the same time.

...I'd like to complain further that when I try to put myself on ignore (and I have tried), the forum software won't let me and comes back with some smartass comment.

I'd never tried that, so I had to go play. The ignore feature speaks truth!

Man, one of my classes got cancelled today. I was looking forward to four hours of riding time. But no, though it was 77 degrees two days ago, it's in the 30s and snowing/raining today. I guess I'll just watch the Roubaix.
