There was actually one print with a resolution problem - poor detail/sharpness. I had a back-and-forth with a cust service because I really wasn't sure if it was my mistake or what (I usually resize photos to 1920 px [on the long side] for web use/sharing, it's possible that I grabbed one of those by mistake). Through language or other communication barrier, I wasn't able to find out what resolution I uploaded at, but she did send me the file that went to print. They evidently re-size prior to printing, but down-sizing with bicubic sharper clearly shows that a low-res file was input. Whether that was my fault or theirs, I still don't know. They did, however, allow me to re-order at no cost, although their terms stated that they weren't on the hook, as such.

Yes, but only because I have a fairly well calibrated monitor.

(I should add that I don't use Walgreens as an example of a quality photo-printer. Quite the opposite.)

Well not only because you have a well-calibrated monitor, though that is of primary importance. But also because they have a well calibrated printer driver, right. When Walgreens screws up a print, it isn't always just because the customer's expectations were off due to not having a calibrated monitor. Quite often their printer calibration is for ****. It's good to know these guys do a good job of giving you back what you expect. Thanks.

I remembered that I had a couple of images that I took for the discussion with the service rep. Here's a near-macro of one of the non-****ty prints. Very viewable, even at 12" -
which is from this image -

Are you old enough to be having memory issues? Even I, old fart that I am, can easily recall datlas has conclusively determined that running is stupid. Many times. I would opine that he is quite brilliant to have made that decision, but he keeps on running. Catch-22!
Then when you throw in heat, humidity, lightning, freezing cold, snow, hateful drivers and distracted drivers . . . . . . it's like

Planned for 120 miles around town yesterday, but I fell to the unexpectedly high temps. Started just after 6 am, and after 8 it was already getting hot. At 11 I stopped at home, took a cool shower and had lunch, that was about mile 70. I also happened to not record the big climb of my ride, nearly 15 miles with 2.5K feet gain :/
Got on the road again, with temps in the 90's I was really starting to slow and lose motivation. Got to 90 miles, and decided to go back home for another stop. Got to 97 miles at my house, and I was too overheated to get back to finish the last 25 or so left. Didn't want to deal with 95 degree temps with no shade again.

There is something visually wrong with your new rig @Heathpack
Looks like something is stuck between the rear cassette and the hub, why is that?
New weigh in 7.02kg on the NeilPryde with the new Force derailleur , and loving every minute with it. Goal would be to get closer to 6.8kg, but nothing is going to be cheap at this point. Maybe more titanium for the speedplay pedals, and aluminum bolts for the water bottles, but it is light enough already

I know. My feeling exactly. You snooze, you lose. I get the sense we won't have the pleasure of any future offerings from that OP. Too bad. He had real potential.

What about your seat post, stem, and bar? Are you trying to match those, which would make optimizing weight a little harder? Old graphics FSA OS-99 stems (the all aluminum ones, not the carbon wrapped ones) are dirt cheap but very light. The 10 cm size comes in around 110 g or so. Too bad the 152 g Performance carbon seat post isn't available anymore. That was awfully sweet for a long time for a sale price of about $70. I am running a couple of Kestrel PRO SL bars at 185g, but they would be a little squirrely for a masher. And they are fairly obsolete in their shape. But for a while you could get them for about $100-150 on ebay. No more. At least not new. There are some used ones.

Stem is 122g at 90cm, not the best, but I could only really drop 20g or so there. Bars are claimed 180g, and the tape isn't a sack of rocks. It's an aero seat post so it's kinda porky, I was the guy that custom made the 120g seat post, but I can't use it on this frame. I run sram rival from 2012, with carbon cranks and such. I have Chinese 50mm tubulars (~1420g) with 280g tubulars. The cassette is sram 1050, I could go to red 1090 and save ~80g or so for maybe $120. I am between stuff to lighten, so it can get expensive from here.

Not worth the cost though, I am sure I could have 50's built up lighter, but not cheaply. I got this wheelset for sub $300 new. If I wanted to just go lighter, I could throw on some 180g tubulars and save half a pound, but the rolling resistance would shoot through the roof.

Now I have reported back that I am being dissed about it on BF, we'll see if that gets the wheels in motion finally.

Yeah, it's hard to say what the weight savings would be if you sprung for some 380g, each, rims for $260 delivered (pair). I could rebuild them for you just for the shipping fees. If your hubs and spokes aren't so light, it might not be worth it though. I know subbed out in my wheels, I would end up at about 1,220 g.
I ended up weighing my seat post combo on the aero frame, 470g :/ my old combo was 217g. I am close to creating a lighter clamp system for the aero post, that would probably drop 80g for free if I succeed. But I don't like hacking up a $250 part.

Also, there is a thingy called a dropout in there, but not visible normally.
You're welcome.

Because my mechanic refuses to take a tin snip to the thing and insists on waiting until he has sufficient free time to remove the rear wheel & cassette.
Now I have reported back that I am being dissed about it on BF, we'll see if that gets the wheels in motion finally.
