Yes.

And since you are a doctor, I'll take that as a recommendation that I not exercise.

Trsnrtr 10-10-15 02:58 PM

After today's ride, I feel like I shouldn't exercise anymore. Tired, achey and sore joints. Hmm, got a flu shot yesterday. I'll have to go look for a study and also ask about 60 laymen doctors for, advice and consensus.

Wow. Who knew that "You should exercise more" would turn into "Scientists gone wild."

Trsnrtr 10-10-15 03:11 PM

Wild and crazy guys. Did love the flow chart, though.

Try this link

for one of the chief antagonists late in that thread. You will get a clue as to the character type... and we should expect some epic classic threads in the near future (before he is banned perhaps).

He turned in a stellar performance in What makes pros so much quicker, too. He's a gem.

And since he's insured, once you drop dead ( #Godforbid ) your family will be well taken care of. :D

Can I have your best bike?

Incorrect.

After today's ride, I was waiting for mrs datlas in front of the French bakery in town. Someone driving by sticks her head out the window and yells "doctor, is that bread good for you??" to which I yelled back "yes, and it's gluten free!!"

datlas 10-10-15 04:27 PM

Oh, a friend of mine got an Apple watch and gave me his old Pebble. The Pebble watch is pretty cool, but I was disappointed to learn there is no Strava app for the Pebble/iPhone combo. Bummer.

Wow, a couple guys I know did a local organized ride called the savage century, looks like it was 115 miles and 12K of climbing. That's badass!

BillyD 10-10-15 04:45 PM

It's interesting (and comical) to see how many "strangers" all of a sudden pop into addiction after being referred to in here.

Flow chart was great. My local library runs a meme on FB occasionally that is semi-related.

Ha... You should join BCC on Strava, I...err...schedule the more laborious, yet scenic rides...If you're in the mood for a good roll...but yeah, a group ride to D2R2, and back, would be epic. Hopefully I'll have the new bike for it.

Got my shifter working again. Blasted it with Clean Streak and another run thru the parts washer. Done.
