While I agree wholeheartedly with this statement, I still want to ride one. I think it'd be kind of fun...for a few minutes at least.

The other day I almost hit a guy who was riding one in a bike lane when he did a little blind twirl. I was hoping it would burst into flames.

Mumonkan 12-10-15 08:57 AM

its mainly because every imbecile ive seen riding one is blindly rolling along while zoned into their phone without any regard to their surroundings

its the perfect storm of young and dumb

i wanna just do this to all of them

I don't remember the details of that incident, but regardless, I'm positive it wasn't the same situation.

I'm a firm believer in old skool style tough love, though.

I'd like a hover board for the afternoon. :)

They do segway tours out of Stillwater, MN along the MUP. It looks absolutely ridiculous.

There are segway tours in Chicago as well. My general observation is that most of the segway riders should be walking.

There are a couple places in Minneapolis that do that, as well, even on MUPs that are expressly designated as being for non-motorized travel.

I know a lot about lipo batteries. The way to fix that is to drive a nail through it to let it deflate.

Probably. But the characteristic I am referring to is his insistence on letting folks know it is okay to get thrashed on a group ride/hill climb.

Methinks he doth protest too much.

Huh, I keep getting emails from 'customerservice@walmart.com' saying I sent a password reset request to them. I've gotten about a dozen of them in the last 10 minutes. I don't have any credit cards saved on the site so even if I got hacked no big deal, but what the hell???

Unpossible. Protesting is one thing you cannot ever do to much of. Ask me how I know.

Lots of scams going around.

I contacted Walmart.com to see if there is anything I can do for them to help them look into it. I'm getting an email a minute. It's quite annoying! I'll just block the address if it keeps up though, but if it is legitimately walmart.com I'd hate to not get notifications in the future if I ordered some Chinese junk from them.

Good approach. Beginning to sound more like a glitch than a scam. It will be interesting to find out.
