It seems Swift is taking over in a big way. I foresee virtual crits and road races, and little to no human interaction anymore. So it continues.

I know a few people (my wife being one of them) that have had issues with errant emails due to (it seems) gmail name formatting issues. All three have addresses in a format that's first name-dot-last name gmail.com and all occasionally receive emails directed towards the same name but without the dot in between. It's weird.

Now Justin's peanut butter with honey, on the other hand... Whenever we get a jar of that stuff, it's gone twice as fast as when we get regular PB.

I stopped in a shop in Houston about 25 years ago to get a few crimps. The guy hands me 5 of them in an offhand kind of way. I wasn't trying to not pay for them, but it just seemed so trivial. So I asked him whether I owed him anything for them. He said, "You didn't think I was going to give them to you, did you?" $0.10. Anyway my friend there with me cracked up laughing. To this day, whenever we exchange any cycling goods with each other the transaction goes just that way. The recipient says, "Do I owe you anything for that?" Then the donor says, "You didn't think..." Then we both laugh and just call it even.

BTW that shop has been closed for years and years.

In the last week I have had someone try (unsuccessfully) to rip off one of my AMEX cards and someone try to open an account in my name. No harm thanks to AMEX procedures and Life Lock.

Gentlemen, we have to stand up and take back what is rightfully ours from these so-called ministers. Who's wearing the pants around here? Huh??

Who's going to be first? It can't be me because, well, somebody has to be the motivator and movement organizer.

Nice. I need to get me a big ol' bucket of those. I'm sick of begging them off the LBS in lots of half a dozen.

LesterOfPuppets 12-11-15 02:29 PM

I never use those stupid cable ends anymore.

Krazyglue or nail polish = way better.

LesterOfPuppets 12-11-15 02:33 PM

Soldering's even better, but that's a little too much trouble.

I edited and uploaded a commercial that i really like to youtube.

The only problem is I'd rather watch Netflix. Otherwise I'd be all over that.

I can deal with a slow boat from China for some consumables I may not even use for over a year.
