Nah, I escaped unscathed with a suggestion for a BP lowering diet and a suggestion to lose 15#. My new doc loved my cycling regimen and said to keep it up. :thumb:

Honestly I wish more would do that and then initiate contact. Most of my clients seem to ignore me and then wonder why I haven't contacted them yet. Which I am, admittedly, horrible at. As are most accountants since it's a profession of introverts.

Oprah wants to talk to you.
Or can I Tom Cruise it and jump like an idiot on the chair? |

R.I.P. Meadowlark Lemon.
"Meadowlark was the most sensational, awesome, incredible basketball player I’ve ever seen,” Wilt Chamberlain said in a television interview not long before he died in 1999. “People would say it would be Dr. J or even Jordan. For me, it would be Meadowlark Lemon.” - NYTimes |

People expect you to call them and suggest things out of the blue? I guess we expect our accountant to do our taxes, answer our questions, suggest glaringly obvious things he might notice in the process of doing our taxes, help us if there is an issue with the various bureaucracies we encounter and otherwise leave us alone.

In the world of small business accounting you can lose clients by not calling and suggesting things out of the blue. It's silly, but some clients feel neglected if you don't do so. Most of our new clients site this as the main reason for changing accountants.

Well that's a head scratcher to me. We have our accountant because of our small business. I assume he's a busy guy and has better things to do than sit around wondering what he should suggest to us. |
Totally separate thing:
There is a hyena in the house. Dental problem, though, nothing to do with me. <Its kind of ugly.> |

That comes with its own issues though. |

Winter storm warning in effect here. We're supposed to see at least 6 inches starting right around the time I commute home. My wife's drive home will be worse since it will happen at 9 pm and the storm is supposed to run from 3-midnight. Could see as much as a foot, but it looks like this area will be closer to 6-9 inches.
But, making lemonade out of lemons, the boy bought a sled with one of his xmas gift cards, so I took him sledding for his first time. He loved it, of course. We were under-dressed for it, though, of course. |

Went to bed at halftime; missed nothing.
Though your boys were looking awfully shaky for that first quarter as well. The Vikes can play with a lead, but if they can't get things going early on, it can get ugly. Was a little concerned in the first quarter, too, but then Eli started distributing the ball to us with regularity and then we seemed to remember what the game plan was. |

That price of $56/ea sucks. The $39 advertised is for a 650c tire.

I have only purchased mine from PBK, usually get a discount coupon to get them down to about $35ish...however, I haven't had much lately and can only find them around $40, which seems to be about the going price everywhere. Which has me thinking of converting to tubeless. Vitorria now has a clincher version of the Corsa G (not the open corsa) which are supposed to be the cat's meow, but I can only find them for around $80.
https://www.merlincycles.com/contine...00c-71989.html I was just thinking I had seen a link recently somewhere around $36/ea. |
I just found a set on Amazon for $39 as well, 700x25.
But I haven't seen them for $36 for a bit now. I'm down to one 23c. |
