People expect you to call them and suggest things out of the blue? I guess we expect our accountant to do our taxes, answer our questions, suggest glaringly obvious things he might notice in the process of doing our taxes, help us if there is an issue with the various bureaucracies we encounter and otherwise leave us alone.

In the world of small business accounting you can lose clients by not calling and suggesting things out of the blue. It's silly, but some clients feel neglected if you don't do so. Most of our new clients site this as the main reason for changing accountants.

I spent some time doing tax for small businesses and am happy to be back with an international firm.

Well that's a head scratcher to me. We have our accountant because of our small business. I assume he's a busy guy and has better things to do than sit around wondering what he should suggest to us.

Yeah, some clients are like you. I much prefer those clients. That is one reason moving to the private sector is appealing. I'd then only have one "client" to deal with instead of 60 monthly clients and a few hundred annual ones.

That comes with its own issues though.

I have only purchased mine from PBK, usually get a discount coupon to get them down to about $35ish...however, I haven't had much lately and can only find them around $40, which seems to be about the going price everywhere. Which has me thinking of converting to tubeless. Vitorria now has a clincher version of the Corsa G (not the open corsa) which are supposed to be the cat's meow, but I can only find them for around $80.

That price of $56/ea sucks. The $39 advertised is for a 650c tire.

I was just thinking I had seen a link recently somewhere around $36/ea.

I just found a set on Amazon for $39 as well, 700x25.

But I haven't seen them for $36 for a bit now. I'm down to one 23c.
