I've got this one. The big house means there were eight good years under Obama. The visiting couple obviously means that will be followed by eight bad years under Trump. The sheepdog hairdos mean that the bad years will overpower the good years. Clearly we all have to prevent this from coming true by voting for Hillary.

I think I may have found yet another way to expand my cycling options. My daughters have lousy MTB style bikes from Target. I think if I can find a 400mm seatpost I may actually be able to ride one. The frames are small but I like a short TT anyway so it just might work. I can't find the damn tape measure to check if the seat will be high enough (I think mrs datlas borrowed it) so stay tuned.

As I was walking the dog, I got an email notification that my stem had shipped. I then mused on how I had to swap out a longer stem on the Jamis for a 100mm and how the Haanjo came with a 100mm that I was now swapping out for something longer... and then I realized that I'm a goddamned idiot. I still have the longer stem from the Jamis in the basement, and it would have worked just dandy on the Haanjo. Oh well, the 3T that I ordered was on sale for just over 40 bucks, and it's prettier, so it's not all bad.

I am now on day thirty-something without a full day off of work. I believe I have found my limit on dealing politely with incompetence, as one of our lab coordinators found out this afternoon. One snarky email on my part generated 2 resolutions to the problem. I wonder how long that ratio would hold up?
On the plus side, I heard that I and my team got an official kudos during the weekly upper management staff meeting. So, there's that at least.

Not until Thursday in my neighborhood. And as far as I know it is Tuesday (could be wrong on this point, the days have started to blend together).

Ten years ago I used to think that even if I should happen to win the lottery I'd still have a job and go to work regularly. That sense of responsibility in my daydreams lessens more and more each year.
Not until Thursday in my neighborhood. And as far as I know it is Tuesday (could be wrong on this point, the days have started to blend together).

Thanks fer the help wrt trash day. Ours is Wednesday. That no mail delivery yesterday 'cause of Columbus Day bit was throwing me off.

If I won the lottery I'd buy wife and me a pair of his and hers 3/5 series BMWs just 'cause I think they be cool and then give the rest away. Who needs all that too much unearned money grief, anyway?

What, you aren't familiar with dream interpretation principles. It is always about good years and bad years. And besides, my dad was named Joseph. So I learned at the feet of the master. Sheesh!
