So now that my garmin 520 is lost, CC conveniently has a pretty good sale going on for a replacement.
I can't decide if I just go ahead and replace it, or wait a week or two to see if it turns up.

If it disappeared from the top of the dresser, it's bound to turn up but I'm attracted to new shiny things so my opinion is pretty much worthless.

I would agree, except for the fact that I spent hours tearing the house apart looking for it the other day. I can't even conceive of any where it could be at this point that I haven't looked at least 3 times.

A good one is fun. The folks from The Bike Gallery, who provide mechanical support during Cycle Oregon, stage one every year during the event. One event is roping, where they use tubes instead of ropes to pull each other off the bikes. There is also a limbo contest. Some of those guys can get very low with one foot on the pedal of a BMX bike.
Meanwhile, on Knoxville streets:
"he is a very skilled driver"

Someone should do some stats on how frequently people post in this thread, how fast it grows. The average time it takes for a new thread to be created etc. I think it would be fun also to see who posts the most often, most frequent topics etc.

Thanks. ![Smilie](https://www.bikeforums.net/images/smilies/smile.gif)
It was. I'm sure it would be even more fun if we had a real team but still.
One of Wisconsin's team was as mismatched as it gets. There were only two of them and one was quite fast and the other not particularly fast. They passed us then we passed them back then they passed us again then we almost passed them back then we got droped. Another team passed us but we also passed two other teams so all in all we broke even.
Sounds like you're doing great. I do love TTs because you really get to see improvement. In mass-start racing there is always something to blame for sucking, not so much on TTs.

I had a 20K ITT yesterday and it went really well. Its 3 laps of a flat course and my plan was to ride it at 107% threshold. And that's exactly what I did. Last lap was at 109% and my ave HR actually went down 1 bpm. I came in second and PR'ed the course by 20 seconds. Sweet.
The woman who took 2nd place to my 3rd in the State Championship TT last year raced in a different category. I was 7 seconds behind her today vs 54 seconds back in the State TT last year. Feeling pretty in tune on the TT bike lately. Six weeks until the SoCal State TT.

FYI guys, I discovered a mapping program for trip planning and such. www.mapcustomizer.com
You put in the addresses or even just business names that you are interested in and get a savable map with all your areas of interest marked. So for choosing a hotel in Paso Robles, CA for example, I plotted all the wineries we are interested in visiting and the hotels that looked appropriate. The most convenient hotel choice was immediately obvious.
No, no, don't thank me.

Is "Donny's Orange" one of the options?

I tried to order a gamin watch internationally a while back, but no dice then either.
Bad news about SIDI. Ribble is where I got my MTB shoes cheap after paying full price locally for the road versions.
