It was an Ironman.

Now someone tell me how to turn off this thing that emails me every time my name is mentioned.

I thought it was a full ironman, but I am getting old and I can't trust my memory.

Similar here. 0% chance of rain they said. We got rained on our way to the supermarket. Pretty light rain luckily.

You've had your share of rain. I'm whining but you've had it worse.

I just read it today, and got the impression it was a full ironman. 100 miles on the bike for sure. That's a full, isn't it?

Yes it was. See above to confirm from the source. Bike is 112 miles.

I'm very pleased to meet you. It's my fault as well. I have this idiotic goal to read all of the Addiction threads from day 1.

Lol.

Go to User CP on the bar in the upper left. On the left side bar, look for "User Tagging" and click on the "Settings" link under that group. Find the box for Mention Emails and check the Disable Mention Emails box.

What? No love for me? I've been dying over here in northern California for months from all this rain and snow! But, all is good now--80s and clear skies predicted for this week. :)

So, a couple of years ago my wife (then, my girlfriend) asked me to plant her some bare root roses in her garden, which I dutifully did, loving husband that I am. ;)

This is the magnificent French climbing rose, Sombreuil. It's scent is as magnificent as it looks. Not to get too deep here, but a couple of days ago I was asked what my conception of God was while a couple of buds and I were throwing back some brews up here in the high country (I was raised Roman Catholic; no longer practicing--but don't dare insult the Pope within my earshot!). I pointed towards this rose, in silent response.

I didn't leave my apartment all weekend. :(

It has been over a week since I last rode. Tomorrow morning I plan to break the streak.

Hi Jen. it will be in your user control panel. You should be able to turn off notifications from there.

datlas 05-01-17 07:15 PM

Speaking of Jen, anyone hear from truckstop? She dropped out of sight a couple years ago.

There is a quick and dirty method as well, but it tends to leave scars. Take a kitchen knife and, using it perpendicular to the skin, scrape off the top layer of the blisters. Then take a paper towei soaked in a diluted mixture of clorox and water, and rub it in. Done.

I haven't been going out due to wind and heat. Went out this evening and felt old and slow.

Don't go. We need some personnel variety around here.

Srsly? So you're committing to a single speed lifestyle? Don't get me wrong, that bike is a work of art, but selling your race steed? That's ballsy.

Oh, and things just got awkward in here.

Track only from now on.

JK. I should have been more clear. The one they are selling is a road bike:
