Are students counted differently up there? Wiki says U of Toronto has ~60,000 students, which is extreme.

Good catch. The ultimate incongruity.

Bought a pin tool - $8. Bottom bracket installed. Should get my antique finished after I get back from my ride. Pics to follow.

Not sure how things are counted, Velo Vol. U of T is huge, of course, by Canadian standards. I'm at Western; the counts I gave are totals (official) for 16-17. They break down like this:

Ugrad full-time: 29700
Ugrad part-time: 2300
Grad full-time: 5600
Grad part-time: 430
Affiliated colleges (x3): 5480*

*Western began, essentially, as an 'Anglican' university incorporating an existing theological college (Huron College; Anglican)in the C19th. The university itself became non-denominational in the early C20th, but the colleges continue; there are two others (Brescia [Catholic/women's] and King's [Catholic]). All three still exist as independent entities, but grant Western degrees. Students at the affiliates take courses both within their college and on 'main campus'.

Good thing. That would be cruel.

Oh cool this poison ivy spread to my fingers.

I hope it clears up for Day 1 at the new job. That'd be embarrassing to be a sea of blisters.

Just rub your fingers all over your lips - that oughtta take care of the awkwardness.

There's always the clorox treatment to fall back on.

seedsbelize 05-03-17 01:17 PM

But yeah, the lips would be a good idea too.

seedsbelize 05-03-17 01:18 PM

They might give you your own bathroom.

Was watching Alonso's Indy test. He asploded 2 seagulls at the same time. Impressive.

Is Canada having the same issue as America--what I call the college debt bubble, fueled by tuition raising at unsustainable rates?

Even worse, look at this review:

We are not seeing that problem. Works perfectly. Costco has a 3-camera pack for $499. Excuse the pun, but compared to a "professional" installation, it is a steal. Everybody is sure that wireless stuff is going to be sabotaged. That is the rap against etap and now the Arlo. But get serious. A neighborhood punk is not exactly playing in that ball park. We are not trying to defend against the Russians, just nogoodnicks from the neighborhood who might get it into their heads to hop our 8 ft security fence.

Grilled peaches and vanilla ice cream...YUM!

I don't like it soggy for sure, but al dente is just an excuse made up by impatient cooks to explain their undercooked pasta. If it has any graininess in the center, the chef blew it.
