Yikes. I haven't shopped at Nashbar before. Is 25% off everything, including sale items, a common thing?

Yes, they run huge sales fairly regularly.

If you want Campy, then you need the Cinelli, other considerations be damned.

Pretty common. Well, 20% is pretty common. 25% is more rare.

If you don't need it quickly, it's a great place to find a bargain.

I fell victim to leftovers from the senior staff meeting lunch.

I fell victim to a single Dogfish 120 minute IPA at a "leaving the office" lunch with co-workers. Those puppies are strong.

These two surgeons who go into these remote areas of the Himalayas and do 500 cataract surgeries per day. Advanced cataracts, so they quite literally cure the blind.

Yes, saw that episode a few weeks ago. Amazing work those two doctors do. It was encouraging to witness how routine the surgery is, but it still skeezes the **** out of me to picture someone taking a scalpel to my eye. :crash:

It'll take some time. :o

Heathpack there was a (I think) CNN special on a cataract surgeon who went into North Korea for the same reason.

The creepiest thing was seeing him perform the surgery on people who had effectively been blind for 20+ years, and when they can see again the first thing they do is cry and bow before a picture of the dear leader.

Such a sad, sad place.

How about you? It seemed pretty erratic as to where it chose to hammer folks.

Those colored bands remind of those bars you find on the inside of half gallon ice cream cartons. WTH do those things signify anyway?

As opposed to what, Velo Vol's links? Yeah, I can see that.

I love Cinelli, but this is one color scheme I just can't get behind-

It's the weird optical illusion thing that gets me. Too fussy for my tastes.

Speaking of, a guy from NASA is getting satellite data envy from the new NOAA geo satellite. I'm guessing this experimental data is over CO:

Might be the same guy, they mentioned he'd been to North Korea doing surgery as well.

Pardon my ignorance and insensibity, but is a crabon frame with the Cinelli name on it really any different than one with a Pinarello name on it?
