Unrelated, but did you enjoy Jazz Fest at all? Saw lots of friends posting about it; made me jealous.

I wanted to go a few years ago when Aretha was supposed to perform and had tickets, though she ended up cancelling, and I think last year Lady Gaga was here- that would have been a good show, but I had finals. I can't say I even know who played this year, though. #partypooper

But thank your friends for the tax dollars they contributed! We can use all the help we can get .

He's looking at an alloy Cinelli cross frame. Is that any different than an alloy Colnago cross frame? Maybe, maybe not.

Well, there were a few days there with several options for nail guns as well .

If it weren't time sensitive stuff, I'd agree with you entirely.

Average thoroughput is about 25 deals a month per person. Doubling up means a few things - folks/accounts get ignored... and we end up prioritizing either consciously or subconsciously.. easiest deals would probably get taken care of first so as to hit our 'required' numbers, and then there would be a group of difficult folks that would take up a good block of our time.

End game I see the more time consuming and or difficult deals 'saved' and then built up possibly for a larger problem down the road.

Ooo I see ya'll talkin' bout them bikes in here. I've missed the past few pages.

Slow day. My sister was a softball pitcher. This makes me smile, even though I was usually on the receiving end growing up:

Jiminy Christmas, my new job has a parking garage that costs $135/month! My start time at 11 AM means I probably won't have any street parking options. Guess I really do need to invest in a commuter bike. There's a downstairs gym with showers and lockers that we have access to. The actual ride wouldn't take more than 20-25 minutes.

Are you talking about CMYK color bars? If so, it's printer's marks, often used in inconspicuous places to ensure/troubleshoot print quality.

Ignorance, plain and simple. But the Nashbar frame is still crabon, correct? I guess I should just recuse myself from these discussions, until I get a better handle on modern bikery.

Damn it. Is that the solution to every problem on this forum? Just quote it and it'll magically start working?

I got rid of the v in in the .gifv extension.

Yeah, but I don't want to do that. The v means it loads a million times faster and doesn't take up as much bandwidth. It would be nice if BF came out of the stone ages and supported stuff like this.

Not on BF, evidently.

Apparently getting the jerk treatment by motorists is not unique to the US, or to amateurs.

I was in NOLA all weekend. I did not go to Jazz Fest.

rpenmanparker 05-09-17 02:22 PM

I dislike crowds.
I dislike live music.
I dislike loud music.
I dislike loud, live music.
I dislike a bunch of drunks.
I dislike trying to decide which of several obnoxious bands to listen to at any one time.
And most of all, I can't stand jazz, not that there is much of that anymore at Jazz Fest.

But hey, besides all that, I hear it is really a fun time.
