Several of these apply to cycling. Especially (5).

Triple score.

I get a bit of grease out of the joint between head tube and fork.

It attracts a nice coat of black brake soot.

Did not elevate intellect. But best zombie movie I have seen.

You rate zombie movies? The closest I have ever come to seeing one is that stupid home appliance warranty commercial.

f4rrest 04-07-17 08:30 PM

I'll never watch one either.

The little lady might even watch this one with me; she has a strange aversion to movies where bad things happen.

Why does she come here?

Hey @Trsnrtr

This afternoon I saw an old guy on a recumbent doing laps around a church parking lot. He pegged the Fred meter (graphic unavailable).

I thought of you.

I pegged the Fred-o-meter today, too. Got invited to a trike ride with a couple of old guys. We rode a local trail, stopped a few times for bathroom breaks (old guys, remember), had lunch, petted dogs, etc. When I saw the Garmin upload on Strava, I considered deleting it. I think we averaged 10.5 mph.

The funny thing is, they want me to do a cockroach ride with them tomorrow and I'm considering doing it.

You could have ended your story here and we'd all nod our heads in agreement.

As tough as we get around here.

I like #3.

That's tough for anywhere. It's the intensity that matters. It's a nice, varied course.

I predict you will surprise yourself downtube shifters notwithstanding. Good luck!

I could go for another train flick tonight. Might be time to watch Transsiberian again.

There's a great Russian train flic called Kray. It's about a soldier sent to a Siberian work camp and renovates an old engine.

Yep. That's what I'm talking about, too.

rjones28 04-07-17 08:45 PM

BTW. Still snowing.

I am kind of unusual in that I can ride with decent sport riders on the fanciest machines one day and then lolligag on a trike with fat old guys the next. In between, I might be on a tandem.

I guess I'm not machine-biased or maybe it's called ambi-pedalism. :)

This cold weather sucks I can't drive the C7.

I can't imagine how frustrating it must be.

1. It doesn't snow here. :)

2. My Chevy is big and heavy. :(

No. You're thinking of the 30 mile stop cookie, banana, and orange slice buffet.

There's an addiction club ride from my house in the morning. B there or B square.

Because we're addicted to bikes and stuff, we're going to go north so we get a rad head wind on the way back. Porbably.

It stopped snowing. We only had a couple of inches of accumulation.

I should have added that this is the ONLY zombie movie I have seen. Unless you count the music video "Thriller."
